I joined a small group session with Johanna a few times and it was one of the most positive singing experiences of my life. Johanna is extremely knowledgeable, patient, and kind. As a novice singer, it was really awesome for me to learn more about how to use my breath and body as a tool to free my voice. Johanna is truly embodied in her work and her enthusiasm and passion are contagious. Whether you are a professional or a beginner, I can't recommend Johanna more highly.

Great job getting my daughter who is not afraid to sing in front of people to open her voice up even further. She just preformed as a lead in a play and displayed what she has learned very well

McKenzie worked with my 8 year old daughter weekly on her flexibility and technique. My daughter loved McKenzie and could not wait to show off what she learned in class at home. I, as well as my daughter’s other dance teachers, could see great progression in my daughters musicality, technique, stretches and overall dance skill. We really appreciated our time with McKenzie and I would recommend her to anyone looking for a private dance lesson especially for younger dancers!

"David is amazing! I came to him as a beginner in January, and within a few months he introduced me to methods of acting, taught me the business side, developed monologue & scene work, AND he helped me find, pick, and breakdown two monologues for my school auditions. (I got into all three schools and was given an audition based scholarship for one - so yeah, he’s pretty good)

He’s fun, flexible, and genuinely cares about his students’ success. Super happy with my decision :)"

"I love taking my online classes with Lindsay! Having a really busy schedule, I thought at first this was an indulgence to have a class in the comfort of my own home, however I've rethought that since I've started. These are necessary to keeping, not just my physique in shape, but my ballet up to par, as well as my mental state of being calm, focused & happy. Lindsay is very skilled at shifting each class to what is best for me that day. She's skilled & knowledgeable, proficient, professional, friendly, fun & gives me a thorough workout! Thank you Lindsay!"

"Chad provided excellent technique coaching in Shakespearean Acting. I had the opportunity to work with him in one on one sessions and also in a group setting. Both kinds of sessions gave me unique tools like ensable building and utilizing Shakespeare’s text along with all its double meanings. He is easily able to cater to each individual actors needs and really understands how to help break bad habits in order to allow for more growth. Along with text work, Chad provided excellent coaching in creating distinct physical shifts in the body when playing multiple characters in a show. Chad was always willing to answer any kind of questions and continued to surprise me with the ways he could shed some new light on Shakespeare’s work."

"Sasha is a trained teacher. You can tell she knows how to TEACH dance not just dance well. She is flexible with your learning style but will present 3 methods of learning simultaneously - visually performing your moves with you, auditorally counting out loud to you, and making you repetitively perform the moves while she monitors your technic. Or, she'll let you do what you feel most comfortable with so you have the most fun. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking to learn Dance at any level."

How to Learn Acting by Studying Your Favorite Actors

We all have our favorite actors – from the captivating smile of Julia Roberts to Leonardo DiCaprio’s boyish charm – but looks aside, there's plenty that goes into sustaining a successful career as an actor amid a sea of driven competitors. If you’re a budding actor, dreaming about moving to LA for your big silver screen break, spending Friday night in watching reruns of your favorite movies may not be as couch-potato-ish as it sounds.
