Ever wanted to understand the inner workings of the music that you love, perform, or revere? Music Theory and Analysis opens windows to a higher level of understanding of music.

Our first lesson will assess where your currently level of musical understanding is and progress from there. Whether you are a music grad looking for a refresher or someone looking at the material for the very first time, through meticulous exploration we will go from scale degrees to counter point and upper structure harmonies.

As a performer, there is no other discipline in music I use more frequently than music theory.

Danilo is a really great drum teacher. Challenging, but also meets you at what ever level you're at. When limbs don't know how to rally together for a new thing, he's a very good cheerleader until it comes together or helps make it make sense to break through that wall. Enjoys good music too. Super recommend.

Great teacher. Fills me with confidence. Also it is awesome and inspiring to hear him play.

WHen it comes to teaching music theory there is no secret. I go through the material step by step and make sure that the student is always learning every week. At the end of 2 months period, the beginner student should have a greater idea of harmony concepts and how to analyze music. The intermediate and advanced students are also able to clear some grey areas or just learn new material.
