GAMING MUSIC FOR PIANO:

This is a special course Ms. Melissa is offering! She is teaching video game music on piano to all those gamers out there!

Ms. Melissa likes to learn video game music in her spare time, from games such as Zelda, Kingdom Hearts, Final Fantasy, Skyrim, and so on.

She understands that a lot of piano students want to learn this type of music, so for a limited time she is offering to skip the introductory classes and get straight to work!

NOTE: This course does not teach the basics of piano (note reading, technique or notation) Ms. Melissa strongly suggests this course for students who already have at least some knowledge of these fundamentals.

NOTE: Can be taken IN CONJUNCTION with regular piano lessons, or on its own!

About Melissa

Ms. Melissa is a classically trained singer and pianist with a love for all kinds of music. Since 2013, she has taught students to read music, understand music, and prepare for various occasions such as NYSSMA, auditions (theatre, college, etc.) and recitals. She is currently teaching out of her

We love our online lessons with Melissa! We just prop up the phone or iPad on a chair and Melissa can guide my daughter as if she was sitting right next to her!! She keeps her engaged and focused with her encouraging approach and current song choices. Voice lessons are also going great with Melissa demonstrating or singing along as needed. I spoke with A LOT of instructors and music schools and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Melissa to anyone!

I've been sewing since I was 13. I've sewn things over the years such as dresses, pajamas. I do a lot of tailoring things too. I just love to sew, and I love teaching people to sew too!

The way that I teach is to help the student develop their own style. I have students work on their own individual projects that they pick out while asking me questions that they might have while they are doing their project.

However, if they would like there is an option for me to develop lessons for the student on certain sewing techniques that the student could learn. Although, be aware that learning how to sew takes time and that all the techniques of sewing cannot be done all at once.

Then, there is the third option that the lesson could be a mix of the student doing what they want (choosing their own project) and learning some pre-designed techniques.

My first goal is to give my students all of the tools they need to feel confident from the very first lesson. I would like for all of

Lia was an AMAZING meditation teacher! She was calm, patient and very 'Zen' for our entire lesson, which really helped me to relax and calm down myself. Her instructions were easy to follow and I was able to achieve a deep level of relaxation normally absent from my meditations! Using the skills and techniques I learned from Lia, I now have a much easier time getting into 'the zone' every time I sit down to meditate :) thanks Lia!

Before you can sew your own clothes, create crafts, and take on sewing projects, you have to learn the different kinds of stitches. Gone are the days of constructing a garment by hand with a needle and thread. Still, every seamstress and tailor should have a handle on the basic types of hand s …
