I can teach students theory, harmony, ear training, improvisation, how to play their favorite songs, how to create their own music, and how to read both tablature and sheet music.

About Chase

I started playing guitar when I was in the 8th grade. At that time I was into punk, and as I got older I moved into listening to classic rock, then blues, then all sorts of jazz and jam bands, and now classical and sacred art. And my playing of the guitar has following the same trajectory: I play

Chase and I did not work together long because of other commitments. However, in the short time we did work together I learned a lot. Chase is easy going, highly skilled, very patient, and his teaching style is such that it fosters student confidence. I was really nervous at first, because I wasn't sure what to expect. Chase quickly made me feel at ease during the lesson. We only had half hour lessons, but that was definitely enough time to learn new materiel and make progress. I highly recommend him for guitar lessons.

My son is 7 and really seems to like Chase. He came well prepared and finally someone has started to teach him some rock songs .

An Excellent Teacher!

Our daughter Charis has taken lessons from Chase for over 2 years. From the first lesson, his patient demeanor put her completely at ease. During that time we have seen her understanding of music and her love for guitar continue to grow.

Chase has a unique way of challenging his students to stretch in their ability while simultaneously making it a great deal of fun. I would absolutely recommend him to both the new and seasoned student alike.

Hi there! I've been playing guitar since I was a teenager during the '70s. i play and teach rock, blues, jazz, fusion and read and compose music. What you can expect from me is a patient, serious, determined teacher who knows how to convey simple to complex technique and ability to those who are destined to be a student and musician. I can teach how to read, listen, interpret, improvise and evolve many musical skills.

Gregg was my musical instructor during the early 1980ties. What I learned in a few lessons with him was more that I could have expected. I was primarily focused on percussion, of which his vast knowledge was highly dynamic. I learned about poly-rhythms, Indian ti-hies, and complex time signatures. He had available much reference material that he provided me. And over the years his musical insights have not only supplemented my inquiries, but made me a better musician and person. I hope you have a chance to study with Gregg, as you will be introduced to a new and better way of musicianship!

I've been teaching guitar to students of all experience levels and ages for 20 years. I structure lessons so students learn what they want to learn, while also building a strong foundation of basic musicianship. I typically use Hal Leonard Guitar Method for those students who want to learn to read music.

About Rhonda

I have always had a love for music. From all the music trivia games my family won't play with me, to my large collection of records, cassettes, and CDs - I am hooked! I made my solo performance debut at age 7 by singing "It's A Small World" acapella in a school talent show. At age 9 I started

Rachel is a great teacher. I loved how she interacted with my daughter. My daughter went from beginners to playing current songs on the piano. Rachel knew how draw out my daughters skills, challenging her, so that she can grow as a pianist. Rachel was always patient, and curious with her. I highly recommend her as an instructor.

She was absolutely fantastic with my 5 year old daughters first lesson. She had her smiling the whole time.....we are coming back next week for sure.

My first vocal teacher and the best!

Ms. Rachel was an amazing vocal teacher! We would always start off with simple and fun warm-ups, breathing techniques, and would practice singing songs from musicals. My first couple lessons she taught me how to sing I Feel Pretty from West Side Story and we both had so much fun with it! After a little while we learned Cups from Pitch Perfect and then we got into the Vaccai book and I learned a couple songs from there. Overall Ms. Rachel was the best! She even offered to Skype a lesson with me since she moved. She cared about me and always helped me improve my voice in every way she could. I love her!

I am a professional peer, and fellow guitar instructor. Having known Kayla for the last several years, I have seen how her simple, yet masterfully thorough approach to instruction can excite and entertain students of all ages.

Kayla uses her collegiate level music theory and performance background to educate on a plethora of subjects. However, she clearly communicates beneficial concepts to both children and adults alike.

I highly recommend Kayla both as a peer, and a student. I’ve benefited from her wisdom, and insight throughout the years, and I know you will too.

The vocal lessons with Kayla are very good. She always tried to respond to the clients levels and preferences. It is not always easy to use your own voice like you want to, but Kayla has a bunch of really good tipps for you.
Funny, honest and definitely skilled teacher. Highly recommended!

"First, Joel is an amazing teacher! Next, while I think I might have some innate musical talent, I have often gotten nervous around my previous teachers. Not with Joel!

Joel has a way of explaining things and breaking them down in a way that I feel more capable/confident in being able to accomplish the task. He also has a very calm and accepting nature about him so that if I do make a mistake, I don’t get nervous and want to run away!

I would recommend Joel as a great guitar teacher! And, while I am not trained professionally as a musician, it seems to me that Joel really knows what he’s doing with his musical knowledge and talent with his guitar."

"I've taken guitar lessons on and off for a while, and Cameron is hands-down the best teacher I've had. He points out specific technical good points and bad points, and offers concrete suggestions and examples for improvement. The lesson material is progressively challenging, but not overwhelming, and is targeted to the student's interests, and lessons are fun and interesting. Fantastic instructor."

"I have spent one year locking myself up in my room, every day for a few hours at a time, stumbling my way to learning the guitar. On my own, I have made it far enough to be familiar with a repertoire of chords, able to learn songs and even develop the mindset for habit forming. But after one year I felt my own limits and decided to discard my ego and find a teacher.

From his profile here I could tell that Juan was not only a skilled musician, but a keen and pensive instructor. After a single session Juan was able to properly asses my abilities and my shortcomings and tailor-designed an approach that matches my personal and musical nature. He uses my strong affinity for technique and uses that to discourage my hesitancy toward theory. He has a comfortable and approachable presence where mistakes and flaws are encouraged as learning footstools. With humble discipline he pushes me to -want- to be better.

With Juan I am absolutely confident in not merely becoming an apt guitarist, but a genuine musician."

"Eric is a highly intelligent musician. He is very patient and encouraging. Eric knows how to teach as well. He can get the point of the lesson across in a manner that is easily understood. I have had instructors before who were excellent musicians but just could not get the hang of teaching what they know. Eric also does not just "show you were to put your fingers". He teaches you "why you put your fingers where you do". His style of teaching is exactly what I was looking for. The fretboard makes so much more sense to me now. Rock on!"
