I learned rigorous classical piano playing for 10 years growing up, but I was never able to f
It was very fortunate that I found Josh. He is a very talented musician as well as a great teacher - a unique rare combo. He always tailors his teaching to my level and learning speed, teaches in a very interactive way with lots of examples, balances the pace of each lesson nicely between reviewing past material and stretch the learning horizon with new materials, and his love and passion in music come through and it is infectious. He also is very humble and curious and constantly seek feedback and new ideas to improve his teaching.
Now instead of dragging my feet to piano lessons, I actually practice daily at home and look forward to each weekend piano lesson with Josh. I'm so glad I found him as my teacher and would highly recommend anyone who'd like to learn music and have a ton of fun in the process!"

I’ve begun to study in BU with Professor Bayla Keyes since 2015, in these two years, I’ve learned a lot from her, not only my violin skill but also a lot of teaching methods.
I got my bachelor degree in Renmin University of China, which is one of the best university in China. I had 24 students before I came to the States, several of them won the first prize in different violin competition.
I’m very patient. And I know how to commute with students. Most of my student can learn very fast and be very happy at t

My main goal is to create a fun, engaging, encouraging and inspiring relationship with my students. I often play alongside my students during lessons to create a more comfortable atmosphere, as well as allowing me to demonstrate whatever it is I am trying to teach. At times in my cello studies, I found practicing to be difficult because I wasn't playing repertoire I wanted to play, rather, playing only what my teacher felt was best. I have taken those personal
At this point in my career, I am most passionate about chamber music. I find when I'm playing alongside other musicians, I feel the most comfortable and can express myself openly. As a chamber music coach, I strive to help a group connect, both as musicians and as people, so they can perform passionately and experience all of the fun that small ensemble music has to offer.
Let me help you become the musician YOU want to be! I look forward to making music with you.

I am a musician, guitarist and a educator. I have been playing guitar for over 30 years. I have been playing Rock, Blues, Jazz, Funk and Gypsy guitar. I have graduated from Berklee College of Music '07. At that time, I've played as an accompanist for the Berklee Vocal Dept. for many years and played shows with various faculties. I have been teaching music since 1999 privately. Also I am a faculty at the Seoul Digital University Music Dept. for 6 years and counting.
Interaction between players are one of the most important elements in music. As a musician, I highly value that. As for my teaching, I love to interact with my students. Hopefully I can let them know how music is wonderful like I did.
Thank you.

15 Things Singers Know All Too Well
Singers, this is your life. 15. For some reason, your voice always sounds extra amazing in the shower. So work it! The shower is basically your own personal vocal booth. The small space and smooth hard walls give you a volume boost plus a healthy dose of reverb. What singer doesn't love that? 14. That awkward moment when you are the only person singing along. What? I love this song! Some people might not get it, but for singers, grooving along to that certain, special song … Read More
