About Amy
Classes are based on the appreciation that all children are musical. Lessons focus on learning to sing in tune while keeping a beat and participating with confidence. In order to better engage students holistically through mind/body, yoga-based activities are blended into each music lesson. Amy

I am a well-rounded drum teacher, meaning I have learned and studied genres ranging from blues, jazz, rock and indie rock. I will give you tons of music to listen to and interpret and teach you how to learn tunes by ear. You will understand the forms of jazz tunes such as aaba Aba and abc. You will learn how to play the tunes you listen to and take the concepts of drum beats and drum rudiments used within them o make them your own and use them in your original playing. I also teach how to read standard drum notation, and can teach you how time signatures work and the values of notes if you don’t already know.
About Eli
Hi future students! I’m Eli. I know how tough it is to teach yourself an instrument, because I struggled with it for years and years. One of my biggest issues was learning how to practice, so if that’s something you struggle with, I can certainly help you develop a routine to which you would follow

Experienced teacher and performer. I teach at the college level all the way down to youngsters (5 year old minimum age for me). I LOVE music and playing the drums and I'd like to share my experience with YOU!
As a performer I've toured the country multiple times with various artists, sometimes playing to crowds as large as 7,000. I've been on dozens of recording sessions and I've performed in just about anything type of venue you can imagine.
As a teacher I've maintained a roster of private students for over 10 years while also teaching as adjunct faculty for multiple colleges in Massachusetts. Additionally, I have a music therapy background which has shaped and informed my teaching style.
My favorite genres are jazz, rock, R&B, country, metal, basically anything with rhythm! Lets connect and get you moving forward on your instrument.

We can also work on learning your favorite tunes and maybe writing of some of your own! I am here to help you achieve your goals as a guitar player. We'll start with what you are currently interested in learning and expand outwards from there. Feel free to message me and we'll take it from there!

Kelly is an excellent teacher. In just a few months with her, I have learned so much. My voice has become stronger with no prior training in singing. She is fun with a great personality as well as very encouraging. Every time we're done with a lesson, I leave with a great sense of accomplishment and confidence that pushes me to keep going and wanting to learn more. I took singing lessons to improve my vocal skills in rapping and Kelly has helped me reach that goal along with many others I didn't plan on achieving. I would definitely recommend her to anybody beginning, intermediate, or professional."

Playing in your high school band is a commitment that will give you many fond memories to look back on for the rest of your life. High school is a time to socialize and discover yourself, so if music is something you are passionate about, what better way to express that than by joining the band? Nothing is more rewarding than working hard with your fellow friends and bandmates to perfect your performance and finally getting a chance to perform it at a competition, football game, or other band-re …
