Having worked on multiple movies, as well as collaborations with Emmy nominated film composers and orchestrators, I can guarantee that I will take your film music scoring to the next level! Using modern music writing techniques, as well as looking back to the film scoring greats that came before, we will develop a personal curriculum to help you reach your film scoring goals.
About Athan

I'm a professional screenwriter. I've written on both cable and network dramas. And I've sold a feature. I graduated from Film School / Dramatic Writing nine years ago. I'm in the Writers Guild, and have the trifecta of representation. And I've also self-published two collections of one-act plays available on all e-reader platforms.
I'm happy to do consultations on projects you are looking to rewrite or submit to contests. Or if you are just starting out on something new and wants to talk through all the story beats and track it together before you begin a draft.
I can also recommend the best books to read on both the craft and the industry, as well as screenplays and pilots to read (and which ones to avoid).
Learn how to navigate not only the business and landing that first job, but also how to develop a project with a production company, and participate/conduct yourself properly in a TV writer's room.
About Adam
Graduated New York University's Tisch School of the Arts in 2007. Majored in Dramatic Writing and minored in English

Book NowHello and welcome! According to their interests, my students will learn to score for film, how to create their own personalized sound libraries, music notation, how to work with synthesizers, the business of being a successful composer, and much more. Often the most challenging part of becoming a composer is developing your own work-flow that can bring out ideas in a fast and efficient way. Once these ideas are recorded, whether through traditional notation methods or using a DAW or audio recording device, the job of the composer is to develop these ideas in a unique and captivating way. My motto is that being a great composer is not necessarily having the best ideas, but rather that the development of those ideas is where the art of composition occurs.

Popular Performing Arts Articles from our Blog
As with any profession, actors have tools. Just as a doctor needs a stethoscope or a fireman needs a hose, there are certain items an actor must keep in their toolbox. I usually start classes or lessons by asking my new students or clients what they think these tools might be. Sometimes, the answer is very literal ("Script!"), and other times abstract ("Passion!"). None of these is a wrong answer. Being an actor or artist is subjective and everyone's process is different and valid. But t …
