I have 20 years experience teaching piano, and I love it! What I have learned over the years is that every student learns differently. I make it my personal goal to find creative and practical ways to help each student understand and thrive in their own way. Have trouble sight reading? I can help with that! Play by ear? I can help with that, too. I teach classical, new age, pop, and sacred music. I'm also a composer and arranger, and very familiar using Finale and Smart Score programs. As for piano books, I like to use Faber or Alfred's series, but am open to using whatever books you may already have. Thank you for taking the time to read my page, and I hope to hear from you soon!

As a new student, getting the basics with learning notes,
proper holding of the bow, and general maintenance for the bow and violin; was all new and important to me.

I incorporate a lot in piano lessons such as chords, technique, memorization, music reading, music theory, ear training and more. I like using both lesson books and music that the individual picks out to keep students interest and engagement. I use many materials throughout lessons. I like to incorporate the fundamentals of music theory so that the student understands the concepts of music, not only learning to read sheet music. I keep lessons fun and engaging and I teach each student what they want to learn. I consistently check in with students progress and continue to take students to the next level. Students will learn how to practice efficiently, and learn patience in the process. I continually help students form good practice habits and show them effective ways to practice.
About Lynzi
I am like a proud mama when it comes to my students. I have been teaching online and in person for 8 years now and I have seen all of my students grow and accomplish so many great things. Whether their goal has been to get a main role in a theater production in a theater troup or at school, to creat

Piano Lessons with me will cover the core and fundamentals of playing but I allow my students the authority to learn music and songs that they enjoy to ensure the lessons remain fun and entertaining. I want people to always learn the basics to lay the foundation but what propelled me to a higher level was always making sure to have fun as I progressed in my playing.
