Book NowMy personal pedagogy is a combination of the basic technical and theoretical aspects of the instrument and what music the student is interested. It is paramount that students of all levels are learning their instrument through performing their favorite music. All necessary technical exercises can be adapted to a specific genre of music. I have many resources and a vast library of literature available for my lessons that I have compiled through my years at Berklee studying with the world's greatest bassists and theorists.
My main goal in every lesson is to be as time efficient as possible. We start with introducing new warm up exercises or new approaches to playing the instrument with confidence and facility. This is important for students of all levels so we can learn the correct ways to execute our favorite music in the most efficient way possible. From there I always spend the most time on the student's goals, like learning a new song or perhaps theory and improvisation. My ...

Book NowAfter Teaching voice for the past few years it's clear that one thing is universal no matter what kind of singer you are: It takes an impressive amount of courage and self awareness to be heard through song. The Voice is one of the highest form of emotional expression, taking the whole body; as the whole body is the instrument. In these lessons we will focus on breath, bring attention to tension, support, and placement of the voice. Giving you the freedom to be heard. I'm excited to work together with you to find your voice.
"The best singers are relaxed in performance. That is they have no extraneous tension. Their muscles are ready to receive the impulse necessary to fulfill action and will ripple with energy."
Kristin Linklater

Over the past 12 years, we've given over 3,000,000 lessons to happy customers around the world.

Will's unique teaching method allows the student to assume ownership of the learning process. His student-driven lessons had our son playing songs from the very beginning. Not chords or scales, but songs that he chose. It has kept my son engaged and passionate about music throughout his childhood.
Will is also exceptionally flexible and kind, making it easy for us to fit lessons into our schedule. He has really shaped our son's childhood and love of music. We are so thankful and would highly recommend him as an excellent teacher for any student."
