I can teach students theory, harmony, ear training, improvisation, how to play their favorite songs, how to create their own music, and how to read both tablature and sheet music.

About Chase

I started playing guitar when I was in the 8th grade. At that time I was into punk, and as I got older I moved into listening to classic rock, then blues, then all sorts of jazz and jam bands, and now classical and sacred art. And my playing of the guitar has following the same trajectory: I play

Chase and I worked together doing online lessons for guitar for a number of months. Chase is an incredible instructor. He helped me understand how to analyze and replicate my music tastes in a super effective way. His teachings on improvisation definitely brought out the best in my playing. I would highly recommend learning from Chase, whether you are a beginner or expert.

Chase and I did not work together long because of other commitments. However, in the short time we did work together I learned a lot. Chase is easy going, highly skilled, very patient, and his teaching style is such that it fosters student confidence. I was really nervous at first, because I wasn't sure what to expect. Chase quickly made me feel at ease during the lesson. We only had half hour lessons, but that was definitely enough time to learn new materiel and make progress. I highly recommend him for guitar lessons.

My son is 7 and really seems to like Chase. He came well prepared and finally someone has started to teach him some rock songs .

Mr. Tarantola has taught my three kids to play piano and to read music. Their confidence in their music abilities has grown over the years as they continue to learn. The skills they learned with Mr. Tarantola has helped them in school music, band and in learning new instruments such as drum set and clarinet. Mr. Tarantola has the ability and personality to teach all ages including new beginners such as I - who began lessons in my 40's. Highly recommend!

Rosdeli will help you open your throat chakra like a flower, in the way it is meant to blossom. Being around her as my teacher in this setting is more than comforting, it is soothing, it feels natural.

Her methods make SENSE. The student receives immediate feedback from their own vocal channel. With her embodied notions of what she can hear and feel, she intuitively guides you into the direction of what needs to change - so you can open up more.

She is the greatest listener and she has taught me a lot with her listening alone. She is the only person I will ever train with again. Every voice lesson I had before hers was nothing close in comparison.

my lesson with Rosdeli was one of the best experiences with the music teacher I have ever had. She blends a keen sense of intuition unique for every student with a strong foundation of a wide variety of musical training and background. She is thorough , patient, and dedicated to the success of every student. She taught me
warm ups, how to control my voice, different methods of singing, projection, music theory, and ear training.

Hello! My name is Jenny, and I've been teaching violin for 20 years. I started playing violin when I was 9 years old through my school's music program, and went on to double major at college for Violin and Piano Performance. The violin is a incredible instrument, waiting to tell your story by how you play it! I realize that no two people learn the same way, and am dedicated to helping each student understand fully what they are learning. When I was in elementary school orchestra, I didn't understand the way the teacher taught to read the notes, so I followed those around me and didn't learn to read music well. I was embarrassed and tried to hide this from everyone for years, until I realized I was just hurting myself and learned the right way. I can promise that I don't give up on any student, and work hard to explain everything fully. There are no stupid questions! I specialize in proper holding and technique, bowing styles, reading music, and playing a variety of styles. I have ...

I applaud the fact that he is not only teaching the mechanics of playing the guitar, but some theory to back up the practices being taught. Learning to read music is a nice benefit also. Joel is very patient with my 10-year old Allison and she is enjoying his teaching style. He's a very easy person to talk with and ask questions to."

"My 6 year old daughter took her first piano lesson at our neighborhood music store. The store owner told me that the piano teacher makes all the difference in the child's tendency to like the instrument and stick with the lessons. As it turned out, after only 3 lessons with the teacher at this music studio, my daughter told me that she did not like piano and was not learning anything. I told her that if we try another teacher and she still does not like piano, we can be done with it.

We found Joan, and after the first lesson with Joan, my daughter wanted more. She wanted to play piano at home, she wanted to do well, she enjoyed the music she made. Joan is a magician with music and children!

Going through this experience, I can say that Joan is an incredible music teacher, understands children and is able to draw that natural talent and desire out of them. We feel incredibly blessed to have found Joan and look forward to the next steps in our piano learning journey with her."

"Chau has been a great instructor/coach for me. She has forced me out of my comfort zone to make me a better singer overall, rather than just learning how to sing what I'm comfortable with. She focuses immensely on breaking bad habits and building/reinforcing good ones. She's extremely knowledgeable, with a great ear, and very keen to the mechanics of what creates a certain sound. With that, she is able to clearly articulate what you're doing to create the sound, in a relatable and understandable way. She's strict, but if you really want to excel, she'll be able to push you there."

How Long Does it Take to Learn Drums?

How long does it take to learn drums? Find out the reality in this guest post by Seattle, WA drum teacher Mason L... Many of my new drum students ask me this question a few weeks into their lessons: “How long does it take to learn the drums?” The answer to that question depends on what you’re trying to get out of drumming. If you want to master a few songs and beats, it might take a couple months; if you want to be reliable and confident enough to be in a band, it might take a year …
