About Eli
Hi future students! I’m Eli. I know how tough it is to teach yourself an instrument, because I struggled with it for years and years. One of my biggest issues was learning how to practice, so if that’s something you struggle with, I can certainly help you develop a routine to which you would follow

I have been playing the upright bass for more than half my life and love imparting half-a-lifetime's worth of knowledge that I've accumulated from trials, errors, successes, injuries, recovering and travels while touring and performing on the upright bass all around America with a number of bands. In my life I have studied: classical music, jazz standards, old-time fiddle music, bluegrass numbers, classic country grooves, accompanying singer-songwriters and much more. I am a lover of any music that can be traced back into the roots of the wonderful American music cannon. What makes my trumpet lessons unique is that I approach the instrument in a very pedagocial and simple approach. The basis of sound and ease of playing is always a top priority for myself and my students. I strive to make playing the trumpet fun and challenging and strive to make the best music I possibly can with my students as I know they are also striving to become a better musician and person.

I have a 100% rate of getting my students into their school of choice as of yet. Although I don't guarantee it, I will work relentlessly to make sure you are well prepared though. I will also lend you PDFs of books to help you save a buck.
About Scott
I have been playing drums and percussion since the ripe old age of 9, in 4th grade. Originally wanting to play the clarinet, my music teacher thought my sense of rhythm was too good to waste and placed me in the drum section. I was the only kid who didn't want to play drums. Over twenty years later

Milton is very professional with great teaching and people skills. Being immature singer I feel comfortable and encouraged. Great experience!"

Ms. Greenly is absolutely a wonderful cello instructer. She is experienced, encouraging, and patient. She knows exactly what my son needs to work on. I really like how she encouges nicely to work on detailes in phrases, pitches, etc..her friendly and patient approaching always works! Thank to Ms. Greenly, my son has made it to the top chamber orchestra in middle school this fall. It is not easy to find a great teacher but we feel we are the lucky ones."
