I love teaching Algebra. I think math is very enjoyable and I share my happiness and knowledge, so my students could feel that also. You would probably laugh quite a few times during my Algebra class and leave it feeling way more confident that you could do it. I do not believe in memorizing Math, so we work on understanding and students are creating their own Algebra in a way. And creating a proof is a very enjoyable experience that you never forget.
I also love teaching online. There are so many wonderful tools for that now!!! For example, screen sharing. Screen sharing allows my students to see my computer screen if I'm explaining something and show me what they are working on their screens. As we progress through the class I share links on rules and definitions that my student doesn't remember or getting confused and we could work with that right away and also the notes on the class are still available on both of our computers, so it is easy to review, ask questions and ...

Excited to be learning from someone so knowledgeable. I definitely recommend her."

Having read Christopher's bio, I sensed that there was something special about him, and that he was the right one for our son who has some learning challenges, particularly in the area of Math. I believe it is very important a tutor connects not only on an academic level but also where there can be some light hearted conversation. Christopher arrived punctually for our first meeting and his assessment of our son. In advance of that meeting I had explained to Christopher what the challenges are and what our collective objectives are. As soon as I saw him, he appeared to relaxed but confident. After an initial introduction, I stepped away to let Christopher and our son become acquainted and he immediately set about establishing some common ground which happened to be a particular sport. No more than Christopher, our son is also very perceptive and despite the fact that he initially resisted the idea of any tutor, his words after this first meeting were "I can work with him"! Its obviously early days yet, but so far so good!"
