"... just in one lesson I vocalized to high C with the knowledge he gave me. I actually, for the first time, knew how I did it. It was incredible. I was so happy that for the first time in years of voice training in upstate New York, 10 years in Manhattan, New York City, studying with teachers who sang at New York City Opera and the Metropolitan Opera, and not one of them, was able to teach me what Bulent taught me in one lesson..."
Fausto Di Ianne

"Over the past 6 years, I have performed more than 600 concerts worldwide. Bulent helped me to lay the groundwork for a voice that is well-prepared to take on the rigors of the road as well as the discipline to expect the best out of myself each night. From warming up and warming down, to lifestyle and technique, Bulent's instruction has encouraged, motivated, and prepared me to maximize my singing career."
Jon Ricci, lead singer, Lansdowne

"I am thrilled to have the opportunity to learn from Bulent. I have no prior experience in music and decided to take voice coaching lessons so I can begin singing in my church. Bulent clearly has a vast knowledge of music and patiently taught me the fundamentals which I found very valuable for a beginner like me. I learned so much from the first lesson and was so motivated I immediately signed up for weekly sessions. Despite his many accomplishments and impressive music career, Bulent was down to earth, patient and friendly which made for a session where I felt more comfortable and more receptive to learn. I am very excited and optimistic to see how my voice improves over time!"

Bulent is very friendly. The introductory lesson is very comprehensive, and covers all the fundamentals in detail. His teaching method is very well-designed and complete. The first lesson had a very positive influence on me, and gave me lots of confidence. Just in one hour, I started to see the improvement in my voice and singing, and I realized that the progress will continue. I started to believe in my ability, and take my voice seriously. Only a true teacher can have this kind of an impact on a student.
I like the cozy studio too. It's a very musical environment, surrounded by instruments, and full of energy. I'm very excited and looking forward!"

This is a whole new world for us as I don’t know anything about this industry so I really didn’t know how to begin to help my daughter pursue her passion
I read Mia’s bio and I knew immediately that she would be a perfect fit for my daughter
Lucky for us she was less than an hour away so I signed my daughter up for lessons not really sure what to expect
My daughter is a senior in high school and just loves acting. She was involved in the plays at school but she had no experience singing and wanted to try
Mia has the experience in musical theater and she is an excellent teacher. She is very patient and genuinely cares about her students
My daughter has grown so much in the short time that she has worked with Mia
She recently auditioned and was accepted to the college she was hoping to attend
Working with Mia gave her the skills and the confidence to be able to accomplish this goal
I can’t say enough about Mia!

Students who study with me learn a technique based on clear, focused vowels, with a ringing tone. I am able to teach art song in Latin, German, French, Italian, and English, as well as operatic and musical theater styles. I am interested especially that young singers begin on a good foundation with repertoire suitable for their voices. I help my students achieve goals such as placement in choirs and participation in vocal public performance.

Want to learn classical voice technique? I teach a curriculum that focuses on healthy breathing, purity of vowels, and freedom of tone that is great for beginner and intermediate singers of all ages! I believe in the joy of music, and would love to help you explore your unique instrument. I can also teach the basics of music theory, sight reading, and piano skills.
About Rebekah

I help students tap into that in a safe and fun environment.
In addition to studying classical voice, I also studied piano for 8 years and music theory for 3 years. I try to incorporate theory and aural skills into all lessons, so that student become well-rounded musicians while building healthy vocal technique.
