Go at your own pace and have fun are my knitting mottos! I teach continental style knitting and have been teaching beginners to knit for over 5 years. Together we'll experience the excitement that comes when you cast on something new, learn a new stich, or finish a favorite project.

I'm can start with the basics (cast on, knit stitch, purl stitch) or jump straight into helping on a project you have planned (or started and got stuck on? don't worry - it happens to all of us!). There is no limit to the kind or number of projects we can do. I have plenty of project ideas and am always happy to help with your ideas, too.

About Nicole

My grandmother taught me to knit when I was 11 years old, and after taking a few years off I picked up the hobby again in my 20s. Now in my 30s I am an avid knitter - there are always several projects on my needles (I need one I can travel with, one I can do while watching TV, and usually one I'm m

Welcome to a new experience of knowledge transfer on a warm environment of friendship.
I will be your guide and partner on this exciting experience of bringing yarn to life by crocheting dolls. I will teach you crochet techniques and how to read and understand amigurumi patterns on a variety of languages including english, spanish and some portuguese notations (russian and german is a work in progress).
I totally agree with the idea of self-learning (I did so) as a way on achieving and improving your crocheting goals by following online text, pictures and videos. But I love to think about you as a friend on top of a student, human to human relationships empowers learning and enrichen our souls and hearts.
My main goal is to shorten and soften your learning journey by getting together to share some good quality time while having some social chat about general-interest topics like Disney's parks, Netflix series, latinamerican culture, spanish language and such.

About Karina

In a time where we're all in a hurry going nowhere and everywhere at the same time, being so busy on top of ourselves and constantly being pulled out of reality and humanity by our smartphones. I've found really comforting spending some time on crocheting dolls, I've got bedazzled by the amigurumi

I'm a Home Economics teacher with 30 years crochet experience. I have skills and strong foundation in handicrafts and specialize in fundamentals of crochet. I typically use inspirational ideas around me and modify them according to my students' needs. I structure my lessons in a way the students will learn what they want to learn without feeling bored.

I'm available for eager students of all ages and experience levels. I would love to work with you and help you learn to master the basics of this needlework. I will also help you build a crochet portfolio that you can use any time as a quick reference guide (and inspiration as well) so you can comfortably make your very own DIY crochet projects!

We love Ms Loudel! My daughter is always excited for her tagalog lessons with Ms Lou. I picked Ms Lou because her profile says she used to be a Filipino/Tagalog teacher in the Philippines and that's important to me. Her being a real tagalog teacher makes perfect sense for my daughter to learn tagalog the way we actually learn it in school. I highly recommend Ms Lou! She is the best!
Kimberly
Loudel is a great teacher. She makes the lessons easy to follow and understand. However, she seems to have a difficult time with scheduling from my experience. I paid for classes on a certain day, but there were some of those days where she has to cancel and reschedule the classes multiple times. We then switched the day to a different day and so far the new day seems to be working out great. Loudel is very knowledgeable on Tagalog and she is a great teacher to learn Tagalog from.
Isabel
Loudel was a fantastic Tagalog teacher! In addition to basic beginner phrases, she taught me about important grammar structures and even imparted mini-history and cultural lessons. She made me feel very comfortable even when I sometimes messed up my pronunciation, and was incredibly encouraging throughout the lessons. I can’t wait to take more Tagalog classes with Lou!

In this lesson, students can expect to learn how to plant flowers, peppers, and tomato plants in nice rich soil and pots. We will use seeds for the flowers, pepper plants, and tomato plants. We will start with paper cups and soil. By the end of May, we will transfer our flowers and vegetables to a garden. They will learn what plant food they can use and how much water they will need to make it grow. They will also learn how to weed their plants and clip off any dead part of the plant. I will start this lesson in mid-April and go through the end of May so we can see progress and growth of the plants.

Cheryl was great!! She was very knowledgeable and patient. My daughter was able to learn what we would consider a lot on the very first lesson. Despite the technical difficulties we were having with our personal equipment Cheryl was able to work through those issues with us and continue a lesson. She was friendly kind and reassuring to my daughter who doesn’t always have the most confidence in herself. She is helping her learn something that she really wants to do And helping her with her self-confidence as well! Couldn’t ask for anything more! Thank you so much take lessons and Cheryl

I decided to take painting lessons from Morgan because while I have experience in drawing, I was a complete beginner when it comes to painting. Now after just a couple months of biweekly lessons, I feel like I have a good grasp on the fundamentals of oil painting. I've already painted several pieces that I really like. Morgan has been very supportive and knowledgeable the whole way through. I'm very glad I decided to take lessons from her.

Chess Openings & How To Start Your Game Strong

As a game, chess is traditionally divided into three phases: the opening, the middlegame, and the endgame. While all three are important, today I’m going to help you start out strong in the opening. When I first learned how to play chess, I played openings that really did not help me improve and left me with an awkward start to the game more often than not. Eventually, I adopted some of the openings that I will show you in this post and my rating skyrocketed. Opening Principles The first …

Sewing at Home: 3 Easy Sewing Projects for Children

The energy that my first time sewing students bring to the very first class is wonderful. They are so excited about the creative possibilities that learning to sew will bring them. Often this excitement is tempered by the fear of using a sewing machine. I start by encouraging them to do some easy sewing projects for children, so they can get comfortable with using a sewing machine. It is also a great way to learn some very basic sewing skills. The following projects are quite simple, quick and u …
