M. Marie Roche conducted on the campus of U Mass eight seminars--open to all--on two of Shakespeare's history plays, King John and Richard II. Neither play is popular with modern Shakespeare-going audiences. But she accomplished the nearly impossible--making both plays compelling and relevant by her selection of background documents and themes. I hope that TakeLessons can provide an adequate platform for her level of sophistication.

I cannot recommend Eduardo enough!
I first booked Eduardo as a tutor through UCLA Spanish department when I was falling behind in my high-school Spanish class, but have since decided to make him my primary Spanish teacher. My comprehension, speaking, writing and reading skills have significantly improved and I am glad I found Eduardo.
He is an incredible teacher and knows how to explain difficult concepts that I never thought I would be able to understand before.

Eduardo is a wonderful teacher! I started lessons with him last year from absolute zero, and recently when I traveled to Mexico I was able to freely converse with my friends and strangers thanks to the lessons with him!
He is very well-educated and makes sure to also teach the cultural aspects of Central and South American countries. I highly recommend him to anyone who wants to be able to speak Spanish proficiently within a short period of time.

I am going on vacation to Puerto Rico with my wife for our honeymoon and we wanted to learn some basic spanish before we go. She taught us everything we needed to know in an efficient time and manner. Definately knows her stuff and even told us some places to check out on our honeymoon. Polite, friendly, and courteous. We recommend her for anybody that wants to learn english or spanish.
