Come on and take the leap! Learn the Sign Language you have been wanting to learn since, forever! I am a Deaf Professor, and I teach ASL at several colleges as well as schools. I am happy to support your learning ASL with personal instructions, as well as assignments. We can take it super slow, or we can take it with speed. Regardless of which speed we move, you will definitely learn ASL with me.

Have you ever taken a class and had so much fun that you forgot you were learning? That’s the best kind of education when it comes to acquiring a language! I have taught internationally as well as online for nearly fifteen years. Frequently, both in an international classroom setting and online, I have parents and friends who would like to stay for the class because they hear the laughter and realize that we are learning through fun! English is not an easy language , but my BA in English Writing and Literature has served me well! I hope to meet you in class soon!

I love to teach accent reduction! My students are amazed once they learn how Americans really speak and that they can learn to speak like that too. From the first few classes, you will find that your attention is immediately drawn to how you are pronouncing not only individual words but complete sentences, and how your ear will quickly become attuned to the reductions and links that Americans make. Our lessons will be based on the book Mastering the American Accent by Lisa Mojsin, with other books to supplement as needed. The first lesson will Include a review of your diagnostic test so that we can see what areas you need to focus on first. It's really fun and exciting to see how quickly your accent develops into one that people can understand better and that you feel more confident using. Let's do this!
