Bryan has very unique lesson plans and can channel his musical thoughts very clearly. He was very understanding and reflective of my needs. He then presented me with a series of mental models and exercises which i am certain will make me not just a better pianist but a better musician and also help me appreciate music better.

I would highly highly recommend Bryan and i will certainly continue the musicial journey with him.

Trumpet:
A trumpet is a musical instrument commonly used in classical and jazz ensembles. The trumpet group contains the instruments with the highest register in the brass family. They are played by blowing air through almost-closed lips (called the player's embouchure), producing a "buzzing" sound that starts a standing wave vibration in the air column inside the instrument. I begin teaching from the beginning with the very basics of breathing, embouchure, fingerings, reading, notes, rhythms, songs, scales, theory and improvisation.

I thought I wanted to take viola lessons. Then I read her website and I realized that she might be able to help me get my voice back! I thought there was no hope ever. She has been extremely generous with her time, and I haven't seen her yet, but I'm not buying the viola I was planning on buying. I play cello, and piano still, but I am going to see if she can help me with my voice. She sounds incredible. I never dreamed that I could even have HOPE like this!

Zachary has been a fantastic instructor for my son who is new to the trumpet and has never taken lessons before. Zachary is a very encouraging teacher, and he communicates very well regarding scheduling. He has also kept lessons fresh and interesting for my fifth grader, sometimes bringing different instruments and teaching tools that keep my son engaged. Highly recommended!

Zac taught me how to properly perform an aria in front of a whole lot of important people that I was stressed about. He gave me some excellent pointers on how to work with a pianist. His knowledge of music and his experience in performance has certainly shaped the way I perceive my own performances ever since that lesson.

Ray is an amazing teacher. My 11-year-old has high-functioning autism and has a great interest in learning music. I was hesitant to hire just any teacher, as many teachers don't have the patience and understanding to work with special needs kids. However, Ray has been not only patient, but he has an exceptional way of teaching my son in a way that he would understand and retain the information. Ray is creative, intuitive, and experienced. My son is very happy and enjoys the lesson every single time. Thanks Ray.

"Caleb has been teaching my 13 year old son trumpet for 3 years. He is an amazingly kind and talented teacher who connects well with kids.

My son loves his lessons and has made excellent progress. In fact, when he recently played the Sinatra song, "New York, New York", with two other children for the school play the enormous smile he had on his face was priceless!

Caleb is a real find! I highly recommend him!"

"I can't express enough in words how wonderful Mr. Gallo is as a music instructor. He has been teaching both my boys trumpet for ten years now. My older son has achieved Superior Ratings in Solo and Ensemble for 6 years straight, was selected to perform with the All County Jazz Band for 3 years and contributed to MSD High School winning numerous awards in Jazz, Concert, Symphonic and Marching Band. My younger son started his first lessons last year (6th Grade) and achieved Superior Ratings on his first Solo and Ensemble. All of these accomplishments are due to Mr. Gallo's excellent teaching skills and the knowledge of how to get you or your child to reach their full potential. I strongly recommend Mr. Gallo to any parent or student who wants to learn from one of the best."
