In order to access this ability, actors need to develop a strong sense of self, increase their confidence, and rid themselves of the habitual tensions that hold them back. Therefore, I believe good actor training is personal, individualized, and focused on self discovery.
Lessons with me will focus first and foremost on discovering and honoring yourself as a person and an artist, and then on developing your relationship with the text. We can work on a specific piece or pieces (for an audition or a performance), or on plays, scenes or monologues that we choose together, to help develop you as a performer. No matter what, text we choose, we will focus on you speaking own personal truth through your performance.
