Hi, my name's Andy! I've been playing drums since I was 13 years old. I started out taking professional lessons until I gained enough confidence and foundation to go on to perform with various groups and in live settings. I have toured all over the country and played with very talented musicians from many different genres. At the age of 18 I began teaching drum lessons to others to share my knowledge. My students have gone on to form musical groups of their own and challenge themselves with live performances. Contact me if you are looking to learn beginner drum techniques, prepare for an audition, brush up your skills, learn your favorite songs, and play the best instrument in the world! I love working with students of all ages and experience levels and I can't wait to meet you! Let's have fun!

Andrew didn't teach me through Reverb, but I made an account just to say how much I appreciate him. His lessons were fun, and worth every penny. I would recommend him to anyone, any age. He taught me drums for 2 years, and it was a blast. He is the most patient, down to earth and funny guy, and his teaching style was so easy to learn from. He is definitely one of a kind!!!
Zenon
One of the greatest drum teachers out there, I highly recommend this, to newcomers, and old timers too!

I have over 10 years experience teaching drums to all different ages. I received the “Outstanding Youth Advocate” award from Berklee College of Music's Community Affairs Dept. in 2014 for teaching at the Boys&Girls Club in Allston, MA. I perform a lot around the northeast U.S., spanning a diverse spectrum of styles.

If desired, I can teach out of several books - including Garwood Whaley - Musical Studies for Intermediate Snare Drummer, Charley Wilcoxon - The All-American Drummer: 150 Rudimental Solos, Charles Dowd - Funky Primer for the Rock Drummer, and Tommy Igoe - Groove Essentials 1.0+2.0

Or I can teach without any books as I have a wealth of knowledge in me!

I teach rudiments, hand+foot techniques, coordination exercises, grooves - stemming from rock to funk to jazz, bossa nova, samba, west african, and much more.

Josh is always easy to be around and is able to form any lesson around what I wanted to do, as well as teach me loads of new ideas if I hadn’t planned anything. He has greatly helped improve my own production and give me insight into what professional producers do to set themselves apart. He’s great to work with and always in an uplifting mood.

I am currently a high school student. I have been playing drums for 12 years now. The reason why drum lessons with me are unique is because I can relate to other students not only because I play drums, but because I am not as old as all of the other teachers. If you want to play your favorite song or music piece I will help you to play that piece with ease. Don't have a drum set at home? I can still teach you how to play using music theory and looking at various rhythms.

Gabe is a great teacher to get students started learning their basic skills on piano, drums, guitar or bass. He is really patient and takes the time to make sure the student really learns each specific skill. Gabe picks out exercises that make learning new skills fun and even arranges the students favorite pop tunes to help fit in with the skills being taught.
