Albino - I just wanted to say thanks again so much for everything you did for me, I'm having so much fun recording. I just finished up my first track and was able to include guitars, bass, piano, drum and vocals, I can't believe how quickly you taught me all of this stuff. This is a huge improvement from where I was a few months ago. Thank you again!!!

Albino is an amazing teacher and musician. He has the ability to inspire you musically and make you feel very comfortable while doing it. He has taught me many new approaches, tips, and tricks to music theory. He has helped me to be able to really understand why things are the way they are, and not just figure things out on paper like an equation. Definitely the best tutor I've ever had! I'd highly recommend him.

Ukulele is a fun beginner instrument and is easier on the fingers than guitar, but it can also be used to play any kind of music, no matter how unlikely or complicated. I play jazz on them sometimes, and there are countless videos on YouTube of uke players attempting heavy metal and actually pulling it off.

About David

I am a 32-year old Massachusetts native and have been playing music since I was 8 years old, starting on the piano with a wonderful teacher in Beverly who also went to Berklee. I picked up the guitar and the bass in high school and got into rock, jazz and blues and haven't looked back. I received

Unfortunately we had only 1 lesson and then were informed the night before our second lesson that the teacher is canceling because it's too far for her to travel. We had already purchased materials she recommended and paid fees to takelessons.com which we have been told are not refundable. This is terrible service. The teacher signed up for lessons knowing what our address was so she could have simply checked her travel time before agreeing. Now we have wasted a lot of our own time and money. I am hesitant to use takelessons again because of the customer service I have received. Why should I pay a placement fee if an instructor can cancel after just one lesson.

I cannot recommend Lee enough! I'm a slow learner and she has made me feel like the complete opposite! She really knows her stuff and can break down every little part that you might not understand in the most patient of ways. And it's helpful that she's just lovely to be around! Really happy I found her!

"Adam does a great job of adjusting to the student's level of experience. I'm a beginner with some minimal uke experience, and he adjusted the pace of the lesson accordingly.
