My photos have been displayed at art shows and sold numerous times at the Mass. College of Art annual auction. Please tell me about your photography background, what you want to learn, what camera and lens you have, etc. Rule out spam.

As a dancer, I am interested in continued exploration of my body as a communication tool. Kellie has guided me to literally OPEN UP and FEEL (not overthink) the rhythm of my human expression.
Pros:
1) educational - music theory & voice box anatomy
2) personalized to go at my own pace
3) class is online - I can practice something vulnerable in the comfort of my own home
4) open learning environment - intuition and bodily exploration is encouraged
5) foundational approach - breath, posture, warm up drills, basic vocabulary are all emphasized
Cons:
1) class is online - nothing beats "in person" feedback
2) we meet once a week - I would like to meet more often to keep the process active (though I can't swing it right now, maybe in the future?)
3) had to download SKYPE as the communication platform
Advice to future students:
1) Pick a song/goal to guide the structure of your class.
2) Set aside personal reflection/practice time in between class each week
3) Make this unique to you. Explore your fears and WHY you are drawn to exploring your voice. This can be an empowering and therapeutic process.
Kellie is a professional creative who brings her full self to class each week. I appreciate her hard work and devotion to me as a student. I work day to day as a barista and have had regulars comment that they notice something different about the way I hold myself - yes Kellie is working some major magic. I can’t put a price tag on this experience. Thank you!

As a teacher for 7 years one of my favorite things is bringing the arts into teaching. I've taught infants through adults, beginners and advanced, and the one secret I can absolutely tell you about learning, is if you are happy then you are going to learn a lot more! I'm excited to get to know you and make you smile!
One of my favorite categories of painting is abstract. I love to see colors swirl, shapes form, and ideas flow in a free form way. Abstract is great for beginners, because you get a chance to grow in your confidence while growing your blending and brush technique.
About Loren
I'm an artist, musician, and language aficionada. I have a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Georgia, graduating with honors as a Magna Cum Laude in Spanish and French Linguistics. I am fluent in both languages. One thing I love about teaching is bringing the arts into the process of learnin
