I’m currently taking private online lessons with Ron in Yang 32 Sword, and group online lessons with him in Yang 24 and Chen 18. Ron is exceptionally well qualified in tai chi and qigong and is always encouraging while still asking me to expand my limits. He manages to still maintain an interpersonal exchange in the online environment.
I have also made the trip to Burlington, WI, to attend a couple of weekend workshops with Ron in Ba Duan Jin and in Yang 10. Well worth the trip!

Undertaking a series of lessons with Ron.
The instruction is clear and understandable. This week we were allowed to video Ron doing part of the form we are learning, this has prove to be of a real benefit as you can keep referring back to it and even do the form with Ron following him on screen. Excellent. Thank you
Christine
Had my first online lesson, excellent experience! Ron is very professional and easy to work with; our session included demonstration, cues/feedback, short discussions and plenty of practice with a new section of a tai chi form I am learning, For now, online is my opportunity to continue to improve my knowledge and skill of tai chi. I am looking forward to next week's lesson!

Steve is one of the best teachers I have ever encountered, and he is far and away the best martial arts instructor I have ever had. Nothing can prepare you for the knowledge that Steve has accumulated. His methods are unorthodox, the focus of his classes are internal and related to expanding awareness and increasing body synergies within and with the surrounding environment. If you follow his methods, you will advance beyond your wildest imagination and become a better, more balanced human being in the process. He will work with you at whatever pace you desire, he is incredibly humble and he makes himself available to you well beyond the strictly class scheduled format. He has a literal treasure trove of research materials to help you along in your particular practice once he understands your learning objectives. I can not recommend a teacher any higher, and am honored to be his student.

Steve really tailored the class to my needs. He throws in wit, humor and insight in his lessons. The fitness regimen he taught me is something that I can do everyday with relatively modest effort and time commitment. I am already seeing the benefits of practicing what he has taught me. I highly recommend his classes.
Debra
Steve contacted me before my first lesson to discuss what I expected from the session. I had only scheduled one lesson and wanted to try it out for myself and because I am enrolled in a graduate study program; I needed to try an alternative healing session so I could complete an assignment. I loved that Steve explained the movements and how they affected the internal body, mind, and spirit. He is a wealth of information and I plan on continuing to learn from him.

Tai Chi is an ancient Chinese practice and is sometimes referred to as a moving meditation. It can help with high blood pressure, and is a great way to practice relaxation techniques. Tai Chi helps improve balance and flexibility.

I have been teaching Tai Chi in the Taoist Tai Chi style since 2009, certified in set leading and beginner instruction.

I can teach you two Taoist sequences - the 18 movement as well as the 108 moves. I usually recommend new students learn the 18 moves first, get this memorized and then move into the 108 moves.

"I love that Master Ron says that my clunky awkward Tai Chi isn't wrong - its just my Tai Chi. And my Tai Chi in 3 months may be better or worse than my Tai Chi today - but it's still my Tai Chi."

"Sifu Ron Pfeiffer is an excellent instructor. He has a methodology of teaching that transcends and enhances the Art itself. He is patient with his students, explains the movements and walks through the forms with you. I have studied with him for a year and a half and have obtained two teaching certificates under his tutelage, He raises the bar in each class & emphasizes practice, practice and practice."

"I have been taking lessons from Ron Pfieffer for five years. I began lessons while recuperating from back surgery. Having just retired I knew I had to do something to keep active. I found his beginning lesson easy and with Ron's method of teaching engaging, positive and very encouraging. I knew by the 2nd week it was a good decision and knew Tai Chi was going to be the answer for me. I has greatly increased my flexibility and balance. Ron's depth of knowledge in Tai Chi include not only Sun but Yang Chen and Qi Gong . I look forward to studying with him for a long time to come. He works well with all ages of students and has a vast knowledge of martial arts which includes a 8th degree black belt in Kempo Karate. Ron is an outstanding instructor and great communicator."

"I have been training with Ron for a little over a year now and want to leave an update to help guide others looking for a phenomenal instructor. Working with Ron has been pleasant, exciting, and encouraging. I take weekly lessons with him learning Chen 18 Forms while refining the Yang 24 Forms and Ron does a tremendous job blending new instruction with refinement. He intuitively knows how much time to spend on each based on how I'm dong and what form or posture we are working on. I think I mentioned it in my first review but Ron's constant reminder of the fact that my Tai Chi is right for where I am in my learning is refreshing and helpful. If you are interested in learning more about Tai Chi Ron is an excellent choice and I highly recommend him."

"I have taken many lessons with Liam for a year and a half now. He is an instructor who cares about the well being and overall health of his students. He is knowledgeable and is always careful to have students work within their limits. He taught me about 'wu wei,' or 'effortless effort,' a Chinese philosophy about accomplishing things without straining yourself. I always get something out of his classes."
