I have been tutoring math for 9 years, and pre calculus is a specialty of mine! I help my students learn by developing practice problems in response to their needs and helping them work through those problems. I offer lots of encouragement since a confident student does better on exams!
I tutored this subject very often when I worked at a math tutoring center in college, and developed a following of students who regularly came to me for pre calculus help. I helped these students complete their homework in a timely fashion and take their exams feeling confident and prepared. Their grades improved as the semester went on, and they all felt much more at ease with their math class.

Precalculus combines the functions of algebra and trigonometry in a way that sets the stage for calculus
With over 5 years of 1:1 tutoring experience, I have been helping many students learn the graphing skills and knowledge of polynomials, and exponential, trigonometrics, and logarithmic functions necessary to master Precalculus.
I tailor to each student's individual needs, helping them build a solid foundation through my unique coaching framework of progressive problem sets starting with first principles.
When students understand precalculus from this framework, they’ll be fully prepared for calculus.

I've been teaching Pre Calculusfor 7 years. I strive to show students the beauty behind mathematics and encourage them to enjoy it. I work with students at their own pace with the main focus being on developing the confidence to be able to understand what questions are asking and how to solve problems. I prefer to spend the first two lessons testing a student's confidence, strengths, and weaknesses before I select the teaching materials. I cannot wait to help you reach your math goals!
