I am a fine artist, and I am an art lover! I have taught art to kids and adults of all levels, and I have studied art for many years.
I love drawing and painting, going to museums, talking about art, and participating in group art shows. I draw and paint from life every day. I can help you to make your drawings more life-like, improve your color sense, or paint a scene that you picture in your imagination.
About Tabitha
I am especially good at guiding people through drawing and painting from life. I have lots of examples of my art I am willing to provide. I have also studied art theory and history, and I am a good writer.
I'm open to doing different sorts of lessons, depending on what your learning style is. I can guide you in a step-by-step process with a live demonstration, or I can look at your artwork and critique it for you. If you are just starting out as an artist, I can give you an introduction to the medium you're going to be working with. Also, I can suggest all

Age-Appropriate areas of instruction include:
-Painting Techniques such as Layering, Mixing, Washes, and Glazing.
-Understanding Composition.
-Understanding Color Theory: Opposites or “complementary colors” on the color wheel; Painting with medium tones, so that highlights and shadows can be applied easily. Using multiple colors equals “depth” and “interest.”

About Eddie
For children ages 4-11, I aim to focus on strengths, while building new skills. Drawing, painting, sculpting, collage, and printing are areas for exploration and growth. For older children and teens, I aim to focus on developing one's own style with continued exploration of art technique. I also have experience teaching painting an drawing to adults, inspiring them to discover their passion for art! I am flexible with my time and often give assignments or projects to work on after each session.

Painting An Outlet! A Voice! A Therapy! A Career of serious potential. I am flexible as a teacher and will work with you and your goals. We can set a Plan and begin working from where you feel most ready. If its your first time with a brush I will start with the relationship painters you will establish with color, brush, and materials. These things can feel extremely technical and awkward but i can say I didn't find my own successful style until the techniques were with me like taking a breath. Its your lesson so we can be as disciplined as you want to progress. You will love it! Painting is such an emotion partner!

I provide classical instruction in portraiture, still life and landscape in your studio or mine. In this traditional approach to drawing and painting, what will be taught and focused upon are perspective, value and composition in order for the student to develop strong visual language skills. The program of study begins with a specific focus on drawing, since drawing is the foundation upon which all great traditional art is built. Throughout this training, emphasis will be placed on accuracy, or more specifically, seeing and rendering correctly such things as line quality, hard and soft edges, proportion, positive and negative space through abstract form and the use of the full range of values.
About Jeff
The program of study for drawing will include: Demonstration of one, two and three point perspective, creating the nine step value scale, cast drawing in charcoal, the still life in charcoal and drawing the portrait. The topic of composition will also be covered. I’ve done commissioned work for Audi, the Norman Rockwell Museum, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, the American Repertory Theater, the Joslin Diabetes Center in Boston, Kessler Financial Ser

Over the years my students have grown tremendously. They have become creative thinkers and individuals. It brings me great pleasure to see them as they reach their goals and exceed expectations. Especially when it comes to students who I have helped t
I intend to continue working hard to help people reach their full potential. When you become my student you will have my full attention. I will give you the tools to reach your goals whether it's painting something you are proud of, having a conversation in German, or knitting a sweater.
