I have been teaching professionally for the past six years. As a student who struggled myself in nearly every aspect of education, I understand the importance of individualized learning. As a teacher and performer, I look to find relationships between the emotional and intellectual facets of music. By doing this, I try to uncover the mystery of violin playing, allowing my students to gain an understanding that will last with them forever.
Every single student posseses the potential to fulfill his or her violinistic dreams. I cater my teaching around the goals of each student, while still instilling a high artistic integrity.
Though I center each lesson around building a superior technical foundation, duet playing, the theory of harmony, and aural skills are integral parts of my teaching. I strive for my students to develope a beautiful, in-tune, pure sound that can directly connect to their own emotional palette.
Hailed as "delightfully spirited, [with a] rich tone" (Cleveland Classical) violinist Thomas Cooper has appeared as a soloist with several American orchestras, including the Colorado College Festival Orchestra, the Coeur D'Alene Symphony Orchestra, the Credo Baroque Orchestra, the Dubois Orchestra

Hi, my name's Andy! I've been playing drums since I was 13 years old. I started out taking professional lessons until I gained enough confidence and foundation to go on to perform with various groups and in live settings. I have toured all over the country and played with very talented musicians from many different genres. At the age of 18 I began teaching drum lessons to others to share my knowledge. My students have gone on to form musical groups of their own and challenge themselves with live performances. Contact me if you are looking to learn beginner drum techniques, prepare for an audition, brush up your skills, learn your favorite songs, and play the best instrument in the world! I love working with students of all ages and experience levels and I can't wait to meet you! Let's have fun!

For beginner students the focus will be primarily on getting you able to play songs from artists you love quickly and enjoyably, with a focus on developing good rhythm, technique, guitar care and a solid foundation of chords that can be used in innumerable songs. Theory will be given in small, easily-digestible pieces, and always within the context of actual musical examples. If you're interested in learning to sing while playing, I'll also help you find ways to incorporate it early on so that it becomes more natural as you progress.
For students with some experience the direction of our lessons will be largely determined by your personal needs and goals, but subjects we might cover include songwriting, finger-picking, expanding chord vocabulary, ...

Forgo the sheet music and try your hand at improvising! Get started with this exercise from Tucker, GA teacher Linda L... Improvising, in music, is making up your own music on the spot. It is truly “playing with” music, in the more common sense of the word “play.” It’s fun, creative, and, well, playful. When it comes to piano improvisation, I tend to think of jazz, blues, and rock. But one can definitely improvise in any musical style. There is a lot you can learn wh …
