Don does an outstanding job! He is able to connect authentically my son and customized the lessons to fit his learning style and needs. Don has drawn so much out of him musically and has also built a community of students that play together. He makes the lessons fun and engaging. He has opened up my 7-year old to the joy of playing and performing and has helped create a love of music. I highly recommend Don as a music teacher.

Daniel was the perfect tutor for my son's prep for the GED. He was patient, prepared to help with test taking skills along with the actual content of the tests, and made himself available on a very short notice. In addition, Daniel is just a nice, respectful person that was a pleasure to interact with. I can not say enough. Highly recommend him!

I am an adult voice student who took voice lessons with Emily to improve my singing in a church choir. She succeeded, and in the process changed the way I view my voice and myself.

Emily is a very knowledgable, patient, and supportive teacher. She is also one of the most charismatic and funny people I have ever met. A joy to work with.

Highly recommended.

Emily is a great teacher, who really is invested in her students progress. She makes the lessons a great blend of technique work and repitore. When she picks music she gives options to the student and makes sure to pick something that helps you grow as a musician but isn’t too difficult or challenging. Over all I have had only good experiences while taking lessons with her.

She knows how to motivate students to work hard, build confidence, and be excited about music. I am grateful to have her as my teacher and look forward to every lesson with her. If you want to learn from the best, I would recommend her!

I have been teaching English for three years. I have a TEFL teaching certificate and over 200 hours of classroom experience. I have taught English in private and group settings. I can teach to children and adults.

About Christopher
Hello! Hola! Benvenuto! My name is Christopher S. and I am a classical guitarist, composer, polyglot, and experienced language and music teacher.

I am a recent graduate with a Masters of Music degree from the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston, MA. There I studied with the world-renowned guitarist Eliot Fisk who is a direct student of the legendary guitarist Andres Segovia.

Currently I work part time teaching 12 students guitar at the University of South Carolina, in Columbia. I also I teach ukulele, Spanish, Italian, and English to a variety of students online. At the same time I am pursuing a Doctoral degree from the university to strengthen my skills as a guitarist and expand my knowledge as a teacher for higher education. I have also just completed my debut album titled, "Anima - The Music of Spain and Italy for the Gu
itar."

This album is a tribute and memorial to an amazing journey I had traveling and living in Europe for 3 years.

After I graduated from my undergraduate degree, I realized that in order to better my skills as a musician and become the guitar teacher I wanted to be I had to travel abroad. I moved to Seville, Spain where for three years I studied the art of classical and flamenco guitar.

I studied with a international known Spanish guitarist named Francisco Bernier at the Conservatory in Seville. During this time I was also teaching English as a second language to high school and middle school students. From traveling and spending so much time in Europe, I also developed and studied my love of languages and I became fluent in Spanish and Italian.

The experienced was an experience of a lifetime and I made many friends working and living abroad that to this day, I still keep in contact with.

If you are interested in having lessons with me, please contact me and we can begin learning the art of making beautiful music or learning the beautiful languages of the Mediterranean! "Hasta pronto!" "A presto!" and "Speak to you soon!"

I am a college level jazz musician.
My primary instruments are jazz guitar and upright bass.
Growing up I have always wanted to sing but never could find a qualified teacher.

Luckily, after extensive research online for vocal teachers I discovered Kara.
I have been taking lessons with her for a while now and she's wonderful.
I always have many questions for her in my lessons and she always has a knowledgable response.

I feel like I'm progressing and finally learning how to sing properly with someone who knows their stuff.

I would highly recommend studying with her.

I always start with going over your writing and analyzing it, then developing the best approach to help you fix your writing, and also provide you with tips for future editing, so that next time you can get that A all by yourself! I can help with your writing in English no matter your proficiency level, and if your native language is Ukrainian or Russian, even better.

About Kristina
Hi, there! My name is Kristina. I've been teaching private lessons and tutoring since 2009 and have loved helping my students become better writers, master the English language and in some instancesโ€”learn French. I have a degree in Teaching Second Languages from the University of Toronto, Canada, and am currently entering my last year of my second degree in Teaching English as a Second or Other Language at Queens College, NYC. The five years between my degrees I spent working as a journalist at an international newspaper and have lots of experience writing and editing others' work. I consider myself funny and easy going, but when I teach I keep it on a more serious note. I really enjoy helping students develop their creative writing as I consider myself a creative writer and I definitely look forward to helping you reach your goals!
