Hallie C. Tampa, FL

About Hallie

Have you always wanted to learn how to play an instrument, but never knew where to begin? I can help you learn your instrument, and learn how to play the music that you love whether it be flute, piccolo, violin, viola, or cello. I can help you enjoy music. Having grown up in a musical family with my mother a professional violinist, I have been exposed to the joys of music since childhood. I learned how to play percussion and string instruments from when I was six years old, and later joined the high school band playing flute. I loved playing flute and piccolo so much that I decided to take this as my career and went to Interlochen Arts Academy where I excelled in my performance. I later went to Prague Conservatory and Czech Budweiss Conservatory and played with the Prague Film ...

Hallie is friendly, enthusiastic and very encouraging, I look forward to each lesson because I know by the end I will feel great about what I achieve during that time.

I feel like my playing has progress so much further than when I was attempting to teach myself. As a shy adult beginner, Hallie's fantastic attitude makes is easier for me to learn as I don't feel as nervous as I normally would.

About You for Take Lessons Teaching music students for over 30 years has enriched my life. My relationship with my students is a two-way street. I create a course of study to fit their individual interests and needs and often learn from them as we explore their interest in God's wonderful gift of music! Mary is the kind of person that brings happiness to her surroundings.
I have studied voice with many teachers, but Mary's coaching is the first time that I really understand what I need to improve in my singing practices. Mary’s advice is very accurate and she pinpoints these flaws. Only half a year has passed since I started practicing singing with her; however, I can profess that she is the best teacher I have had so far. I thought my voice was becoming rusty as I aged, but it is a happy surprise that it is improving! I also feel healthier since I started to learn from Mary.
Her voice training is good for anyone who wishes to improve her/his singing technique regardless of the genre of music/songs. I recommend her singing lessons for opera voice training, popular singing from the heart, or hobby singing and body conditioning. Mary's coverage is really wide.

Mary is a very great music instructor, she takes her time with you until you get a hang of what you are practicing with your voice. She is really patient and does not rush you into anything you are not comfortable with yet. Mary is a very good instructor, and I suggest her to others.

Nadia has been teaching my twin 9-year old boys piano for the last couple of months for a half hour each. She is prompt, self-motivated and serious about ensuring my kids are taught well. She gives them home work and provides me with great feedback on how I can further help them learn. She has a bubbly personality but means business when teaching my kids. I HIGHLY recommend her!!!

I have always thought of playing-by-ear as being mysterious and beyond the reach of most humans. I thought one had to be born with that ability. I was SO wrong. Osmond proved to me that this ability is within the reach of everyone. He de-mystified the whole process WONDERFULLY. When he revealed to me how easy the process is, and when I saw and heard myself doing what I previously thought was impossible, I cried ( tears of joy).
