I first heard a French Horn long before I saw one and knew it was what I wanted to do with my life. I'll admit when I finally saw one I was a little disappointed. I'd hoped it would 'point outwardly', and look 'cool' like a trumpet or trombone. Nevertheless I took up horn and played throughout my school days in band, orchestra, various youth orchestras, and the honors groups in my area. I attended Shenandoah University, where I branched out and learned to apply Horn to contemporary music, musicals, pop, rock, jazz, and many other styles. Currently I perform in and around Philadelphia with a variety of groups, and in various settings.
