"Best Vocal Teacher Ever!!
Ms tina is an excellent vocal coach, her ability to cover the most important aspects of vocal instruction is very impressive. M
y experience with her has been extremely beneficial. I had been singing 5 plus years and after taking vocal lessons with Ms.Tina I realized I was singing the wrong way and damaging my vocal cords. After working with Ms tina for a little over 1 month I was able to identify correct breathing tecniques, pronunciation, as well as being able to stay on key. Ms tina is extremely professional, patient, reliable and very passionate about helping her student's reach their goals and aspirations in music. Any direction that my signing career goes, I would love to keep her as a vocal coach!"

"Great Voice Lessons
I've been trying for a while to get to the level where I can confidently sing, knowing that I am doing the best my voice can attain.
Kevin is helping me pull through my bad habits, and re-enforcing the proper technique without drowning out my personal style.
Really helpful! Thanks, Kevin!!"

"My son learned how to effectively play in a band
My son has been taking guitar lessons from Tim for over a year now. I have been very pleased with the pr
ogress my son is making. Tim makes my son feel very comfortable, and is more than willing to work with him in any area where he shows an interest. Tim is personable and patient.
Tim is quite flexible with time. He has kindly worked around our schedule whenever necessary. His fees are quite reasonable, and he always errs in our favor in regard to time.
Tim is a great guitar player himself with a true love for the instrument, which shows in his teaching. He was invaluable in helping us pick a reasonably priced, yet quality guitar for our son.
He has taught our son any song my son hears on the radio note for note a real gem.We are quite pleased with Tim's teaching, and highly recommend him."

"Jeffrey is a great choice!
I started looking for a piano instructor back in January. I have a particular goal in mind and after reviewing many instructor
s on this site, I chose Jeffrey - and I'm very glad I did.
I had taken piano lessons when I was a child, but gave that up; however, now I'm back at it! As an adult learner, I look for a few things: personality of the instructor, experience and educational background. When I reviewed Jeffrey's profile, he seemed to be the best match for me.
My first lesson with Jeffrey we discussed what my objectives were and he listened. He had me do some exercises to get a baseline as to where I was.
The other thing I like about his teaching style is that is very patient with me and give encouragement even though I may not seem to be doing well! Every lesson I build upon the previous and he gives me exercises that help in the areas that I struggle in. He also goes out of his way to help me find music that is suited to me (and free from the Internet). Jeffrey is also very flexible and understands when life happens and I may not get to practice as much as I want to or if I have to change or cancel an appointment. He is also great at communicating with the client.
Another encouraging item to mention, Jeffrey will be honest with you - I initially started with 30 min sessions, and those 30 minutes go very quickly! It'a time I move on to 60 min ones - he said I'm ready!
Jeffrey definitely has a passion for music and it shows through his teaching! What are you waiting for? Make an appointment today!"

"Jill is a great teacher
I am a cellist, but I wanted to improve my violin skills. Therefor I started taking lessons from Jill. Before that I had observed
Jill giving group classes to very young students and I was impressed how good her violin classes were: she has a special way to reach children and to make them follow her instructions. She is very patient and dedicated. With every lesson, I was improving. Of course we have to practice and the kids need the parent's help at home. But with Jill's help you will have a top notch violin lesson."

"Great with young children!
My 8 year old daughter has been taking piano lessons with Ms. Arnell for a year and has truly flourished under her instruction
. Ms. Arnell is patient and goes the extra mile to motivate her students. She never rushes the lesson and sends notes of encouragement to my daughter in between weekly classes which motivates her to practice at home. My daughter is very shy but after a year of lessons and her first recital her self esteem is noticeably on the rise! I recommend lessons from Ms. Arnell to anyone who wants to give their son or daughter the gift of music."

Detroit native, Nicholas C. K., demonstrated an innate musical talent from a young age. His command of piano, guitar, trumpet and bass progressed to studies at both Columbia University in Chicago and Wayne State University in Detroit. Since age 16 Nic has toured the country sharing the stage with acclaimed rock acts such as; Tesla, Bret Michaels, 3 Doors Down and many others. He is currently endorsed by Warwick Basses.
Nicholas been a musician in some form or another for as long as he can remember. His musical journey started when he was only six, with a delve into the realm of classical pi
ano. While there he studied under world class child prodigy Josh Cullen. The composers that he studied include Bach, Beethoven, Barton, Hayden and many others.
From here he progressed to playing jazz trumpet, studying the Jamey Aebersold method under Paul Finkbeiner, the lead trumpet player for the Paul Keller Ensemble.
Then at the age of 11, with the help of his grandfather he discovered the guitar. He learned quickly on his old SR guitar. He quickly discovered that he had a natural taste for blues phrasing, and his soloing abilities quickly blossomed. 2 years later, he had formed his first band, Spherical. It was through this band that he found the bass.
His journey into the realm of bass, began out of necessity and progressed into love of the bottom end. Since then, he has been collecting basses, playing, living and breathing bass. He now realizes the importance of a funky beat, a subtle line and most important of all A Tight Groove!!!
The benefit of studying under someone with a vast array of both talent and experience is clear.
*** Lesson Details *** During his musical career Nicholas has played almost every style of music; from folk to experimental from jazz to rock. One thread holds true through all music, it has to groove. During the course of a lesson he will cover a broad range of topics starting from the basics, and moving into ear training, sight-reading, theoretical knowledge and most important for bass players, groove. Just as every player has their own musical personality and voice, so to does every lesson that Nicholas gives. In a supportive, patient environment, every lesson is custom tailored to the student.
*** Studio Equipment *** Home: lessons in dedicated music room with piano and stereo, guitars/basses, cables/amps
*** Specialties *** Jazz Studies major at Wayne State University. Has a firm understanding of music across both the classical and jazz idioms spanning multiple instruments.

Nic has been so helpful helping my son get ready for his Jazz band this fall - working with him on all the new jazz chords he needs to learn, timing and even finding the right chords on YouTube and slowing them down so he can learn them more easily.

Nicholas is very well educated and a extremely patient teacher. I'm very excited to continue learning piano with him.
Hi, there! My name is Haley and I can't wait to meet you! I've been teaching private lessons since 2011 and have loved helping my students learn and enjoy the music world of learning piano.I love taking the fun approach of learning piano instead of a strict lesson because every child is different and learns at their own pace. Once that is established and we find the best learning pattern a child will enjoy learning and take off! I look forward to helping you reach your goals!

Daelyn is an incredible human being! I suppose as a friend I am biased, but I have reason to be. She is a phenomenally patient person who finds joy in watching others grow and improve. She is thoughtful and understanding, and she is constantly seeking to expand her skills and knowledge of music. I would highly recommend Daelyn to anyone who is looking for a kind, patient teacher.
