I will travel to your home as well as offer a Skype lesson.
I will meet you where you are and help you to reach your full potential. I have the most experience particularly working with those in elementary, ,high school and college aged students. Private music lessons should be tailored to the specific needs of each student. I have a variety of experience teaching in the classroom and private studio in various levels of voice and piano.
Learn the best in vocal technique from a highly qualified voice teacher.
All of my past experiences lead into my real passion: Teaching. Whether it's conducting throughout Europe or singing as featured soloist with the Stuttgart Symphony Orchestra and Oregon Symphony, I use past experience to teach students about musical and healthy singing techniques. I am currently a Doctoral candidate at UNLV. I am excited to incorporate new instructional techniques into my teaching that I learned from conventions and coursework.
Most of all, I believe that singing should be a fun expression of yourself. It should be an outlet for creation no matter the skill or age level
of the singer.
I hold a Master of Education degree from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas where I specialized in Secondary Vocal Music. I obtained my Bachelor of Arts degree in Music (Vocal Performance and Choral Conducting) from Oregon State University. I am an active choral director and singer in the Las Vegas Valley and sing opera semi-professionally.
*** Lesson Details *** Breathing is the key to singing and speaking. After a few months in my studio, a student will know how to sing healthfully and on the breath. If a student wants to focus on more popular styles like rock, pop, or country, I can instruct you on the best ways to maintain vocal health and increase the power, range and agility of your voice. If a student wants to sing in one of the major Classical languages (Italian, German, or French) I have extensive training in the pronunciation of each.
I have taught singer/songwriters how to convey their creative images. I have also taught adult singers how to contribute more of their own sound to their community or church choirs. All doors are open for a healthful singer!
*** Studio Equipment *** extra room with piano, recording equipment, seating
*** Travel Equipment *** All a student would need is a piano or keyboard.
*** Specialties *** Classical and operatic voice, popular genres including Rock, Pop, and Broadway.
*** Choir Opportunity *** Check out the Battle Born Chorale for the choir that I conduct here in Las Vegas.

Sharon T. is a professional singer, international recording artist and songwriter. She released her first single here in the US in 2003 and reached number 7 in the Tower Recordsâ chart. Her single âTell Meâ a dance version of the Philippines legendary composer/producer Louie Ocampo's composition was released in Europe in 2004. Golden Pisces has helped aspiring singers sing with power and control and develop their confidence. Sharon T's lessons include physical exercises that develop the support muscles, proper breathing techniques to control tone support, high voice techniques, blending of the voice registers (splitting the voice into head tone and chest tone has ruined many voices) and stage attitude. Sharon Tâs experience as a singer, performer, recording artist and producer allows her insights into the problems of singers. She also helps her students in recording sessions.
Sharon T sang the National Anthem for the LA Lakers at the Staples recently and wowed the audience with the strength of her voice, according to Kobe one of the Best Renditions of National Anthem in the history of his Lakers Team. Sharon T. has GROUPS produced champions and finalists in several singing competitions. Some of our students were given major roles in school plays recognizing their singing abilities. And now a group just got signed with YOUNG MONEY (Producer to Nicki Minaj , Drake , Tyga and many famous artists) and the group WTF â WE THE FUTURE is starting tour in July 2013 with Lil Wayne W3 The Future is currently touring back to back with Austin Mahone 2014. Sharon was absolutely fabulous and got my son prepared and confident for his auditions!! She was always on time, easy to reach and sincerely took a personal interest in preparing him to be successful in his immediate goals but also has given him the tools to continue to practice on his own and hone his skills. I would absolutely recommend her and she more than exceeded our expectations!!
Students will focus on character studies, operas from different periods, and be able sing and study arias in different languages such as English, Italian, German, and French. As well as learning the International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA) and pedagogical techniques.

I have been been blessed to be able to work with Zeffin for over 2 years now. Zeffin is a great voice coach, and he has been very instrumental in helping develop my instrument continuously and steadily. I can only highly recommend to anyone serious about singing, but don't take my spot. OK?

Shortly after finding Zeffin 2 1/2 years ago, my daughter started getting cast in shows! He has a way of working with children to bring out the best in them in a very natural way. He asks probing questions, makes them think about each scene and character and truly has a gift for working with young talent. My daughter has learned so much and grown in her acting ability. He is a great resource for all kinds of questions about the business. We are so glad we found him.

"The first time I had a lesson with Gregory, when I got in my car and drove home, I cried. Not because it was awful, but because I was so overjoyed that in
that hour, I felt more connected to my voice than I ever had, and I had hope that with his help I could grow into singer that was trapped inside. Five years later, I have certainly found that to be the case. Gregory has this wonderful ability to identify what you're doing "wrong" with your voice, or what is causing discomfort, and then helps you free your voice in a way that is easy to understand, and FUN. When Gregory asks me to do something, the majority of the time his way of explaining it clicks immediately and voila! — there is my voice! When I first went to Gregory, my voice was tied up; I was strangling myself, and the different parts of my voice were not unified. I was absolutely terrified of singing "high." In my work with him, he's overhauled my voice and given me the tools to access my true voice. Pieces that I wouldn't have even attempted to sing, I was then able to explore, and now they flow easily and in many cases are spectacular and brilliant. It is also extremely important to note Gregory's approach to the psychological woes of singing. As someone who suffers some performance anxiety, panic attacks, and occasionally a lack of confidence in my abilities, Gregory has been a wonderful support. He is patient, kind, and he doesn't let me beat myself up. With that support I have been able to respect and care for myself more as a singer and a person. Do you want to blossom? Go with Gregory."
