About Chenyu
Hi there! Thanks for visiting my profile :)

Every 7-8 months, I host recitals for my students to perform in front of family and friends. Parents loved the previous recitals from May 2016 and January 2017. This gives students the opportunity to display their talents and hard work in a formal setting. Recitals are optional, for all instruments, and will be held at the Piano Place in Troy.

I have a Master's degree in Social Work and love building relationships with clients and empowering people. I currently still take piano & drum lessons from accomplished music teachers to continue learni
ng techniques to pass on to my students...I believe a great teacher never stops being a student.

**I no longer travel to students' homes for lessons, so please choose the option to take lessons at my apartment/studio. Thanks!**

I look forward to hearing from you,
Chenyu

I didn't receive the help for which I had signed up. The 1st class she didn't have her computer and she said she wanted to just meet with me and discuss what we would learn. The second class was fairly productive, but she wasn't familiar with my newer version of AutoCad so we spend more time figuring out where to locate design items than learning how to modify them. The last lesson was a joke. The internet connection she used was simply to slow and I couldn't screen share or follow what she was doing.

I think this was the wrong way for me to get the help I needed.

Joyeuse Fête des Pères: French Vocabulary for Father's Day
Whereas France and the U.S. celebrate Mother’s Day on different days in May, both countries celebrate Father’s Day on the same day every year: the third Sunday of June.
