Recording lessons will prepare you to sing in the studio. We will cover recording technique, song interpretation, song preparation, working with producers, arrangers, instrumentalists, etc.

I have spent over 10 years gigging, recording, and teaching drums in the Twin Cities. I am a full-time musician, splitting time between original indie-pop band, Step Rockets, and Minneapolis-based cover band, Soul Tree. I teach from my music studio in St. Paul as well as traveling to students' homes. I started drumming at the age of 10, honing my chops under the tutelage of drummer/vibraphonist Steve Roehm, member of the acclaimed Twin Cities jazz trio, The New Standards. Hello, My name is Beau. The bass guitar is a great passion of mine and I am excited to share my knowledge and experience with others. Initially self-taught, I attended McNally Smith College of Music in St. Paul, MN where I earned a degree in Bass Performance studying under Terry Burns, Gary Raynor, Jay Young, Jeff Bailey, and Charles Fletcher. I first began recording my own music in 2003 and have been doing it ever since. I built my first recording computer in 2007 and have slowly pieced together my own amateur studio. I primarily use Cakewalk Sonar, but also have plenty of experience with Logic, ProTools, FL Studio, and a handful of other recording programs.
