I teach all areas of Guitar. I teach you how to read the music, understand the theory, and to play many different styles as well as genres of music. I also work on playing by ear and transposition as well as how to follow a lead sheet or chord sheet.

I can play any number of styles from blues and country to hard rock and heavy metal I've been playing guitar for about 15 years now. I know music theory very well and I'm great with making the theory part fun to learn while teaching to play a style that the student prefers. I'm an easy going guy and really patient. I make the promise to every student that I will give them every bit of effort and support I can to propel them in their music career. I'm one of those people who gets along with everybody and I like to make my lessons fun for each student.

I've been teaching one-on-one lessons for about 25yrs, in Guitar, Bass, & Drums. Lessons are personalized & tailored to each student's needs & goals, in their own style of learning. No matter your age or ability, whether just for fun to learn a favorite song or something long term and serious, I do it all. I have a lot to share with you in all styles of music and playing. I was born and raise on Peru, South America. My interest in music began when I was 9 years old. I came to USA when I was 17 and started attending college. I have take several music classes at college level like Music Theory, Music History, Piano, Voice and Ensemble. I finished my Associates degree in Fine Arts in Music in 2010. I have over 10 years of experience teaching music to students of all ages. I teach guitar and piano and I use different methods according to the student's needs. I also hold 2 recitals a year so students can show their hard work.
