I have taught over twenty English students from kindergarten through college graduates (research papers, policy analysis papers, etc.).

I build language arts skills in speaking, reading comprehension, listening and writing. I cover vocabulary, spelling, grammar, sentence structure, tenses, subject-verb agreement and punctuation, etc.

I've been teaching English for 7 years and my students have gone on to develop a deep love of the American culture, study abroad, and more! Within the first few lessons, you'll start speaking simple sentences and as time goes on, you'll be able to conjugate like a pro!

I've taught several sections of first-year composition at a university. I have written short stories and poetry in formal environments and for presentation. I have studied English, directly, through my degree in the field and through continued training at the graduate and doctorate levels. I have tutored both adolescents and adults and stand out, by reviews, as a smart, caring, helpful teacher.

I've taught English abroad for over 4 years, in America for 8 years, and via Skype for 2 years. I've completed my Masters degree coursework to teach English as a Second Language as well as English Literature/Language Arts. I am a writing educator with 15 years of experience; I've taught in public schools, community colleges, universities, for tutoring companies, and privately. Every place tackles language arts test-taking in its own way and that makes me familiar with a very diverse range of strategies. The SAT has changed and other tests will soon follow suit, but I can provide an adaptive, focused curriculum, tailored for getting you the score you're looking for, no matter the test.

I have a Bachelors degree in Biblical Studies and am working toward my second Bachelor's degree in Political Science. I spend many hours reading, writing and learning, and therefore I am very knowledgeable in the field.
