I have been playing the guitar for 13 years. As a recent graduate from Southeastern Louisiana University, I have been teaching guitar and ukulele lessons as well as classes since the spring of this year (2017). I hold a bachelor's degree in music performance with my primary instrument being the guitar.
I can help you to acquire a solid foundation of music theory knowledge. You can help to better understand music theory concepts if they are paired with guitar techniques to supplement them.
If you are a complete beginner, do not be afraid! I will help you to learn at a pace which is comfortable but still effective for you. These lessons will be focused and designed to fit YOUR needs. Let's learn together :)

I spend a lot of time gearing my lessons to each specific student. Obviously we will learn songs that you are interested in. But in addition to that I write out specific exercises to help my students learn while also making it something that is fun and interesting to play so that we are not tied solely to learning from a book when it is not necessary. I can also help with songwriting, improvisation and other creative pursuits. The genres I am well versed in are pop, rock, classical, jazz, blues, funk, etc.

My lessons will be unique because I have the classical music teachings learned in ten year of conservatory, transmutated into modern approach for electric guitar. From beginners to Pro. Another pecuIiarity of mine, I always play with my horror skull mask taken from my horror "one man band project" named "Candyboy". That means that in my lessons I will provide even for stage techniques, dedicated to Pro musicians.
My genre range from rock to classical, from pop to acoustic blues.

My students learn basic note reading, strumming and technique. We have fun writing songs, too! Students can expect to complete Hal Leonard's Guitar Book One, plus Hal Leonard's Easy Pop Melodies, along with plenty of supplemental songs.
