Students will learn how to read as well as play: notes, chords, scales, songs, common chord progressions, guitar tab, chord charts and a whole bunch more! Ear training, chord theory and improvisation will also be incorporated into the lessons.

I've been teaching one-on-one lessons for about 25yrs, in Guitar, Bass, & Drums. Lessons are personalized & tailored to each student's needs & goals, in their own style of learning. Alex has been a professional touring musician and teacher since 2011, teaching both privately and as an extension faculty member. He has worked with students of all ages and skill levels, tailoring his lesson plans for the needs of the student. Alex does not believe that one rigid method will fit for everyone, and tries to ensure that every student is having fun and learning in a personalized way. His specialties include flatpicking and fingerpicking the acoustic guitar.

I have been teaching private guitar lessons throughout Colorado for over a decade and have brought my special training skills and methodology to many, many students within that time. I am an accomplished musician who teaches in the studio on Saturdays and provides in-student home lessons during the week. I am also a published author of many guitar instruction books that I am currently selling on Amazon & eBay.

I have a very unique and exciting approach that quickly gets students of all ages having fun playing guitar. I am left-handed (which makes learning from me easier) and my enthusiasm and love for teaching shine through with every lesson I prepare.
