Hello, my name is Bailey and I love teaching cello! I am a professional pianist and public school orchestra teacher. I have a Bachelor of Music degree in Music Education and a Master of Music degree in Piano Performance from the Fredonia School of Music. I am a certified K-12 music teacher in New York State. I have been giving private lessons for 10 years to a variety of learners ranging in age and skill level.
My students walk away each week feeling empowered and confident in their abilities. I am able to push you while making you feel excited about new challenges. I am able to assess what you need, and offer you meaningful feedback in small, digestible chunks. Along with all of this, I make lessons fun! I am a passionate, energetic, humorous, patient cello instructor. I have been teaching since 2008. Within these years, I taught the private lesson, group lesson, music theory and studio class of all ages and all levels. One of my ten years old student got the highest score of the Asian-Pacific Region in Grade two cello exam of The Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music only after one year learning from me. I have abundant experiences for helping students not only learning music and cello but also enjoying lots of fun from it. I also helped my students for preparing their solo recitals, summer festival auditions, competitions, and performing arts high school auditions. Valentina is a cellist with 11 years of experience, currently, she is a professor at music academies; she has participated in national and international orchestras. She was part of the “El Sistema” in Venezuela, where she obtained her knowledge abilities to become the musician she is now. I like to see how my students grow and advance; I get involved in their musical growth, which helps them to develop each of their skills by giving them tools they enjoy to work on while they enjoy it.

My name is Naza. I have been playing cello for 30 years - I started practicing at age 8 at a music in school in Kyrgyzstan. I then graduated from the National Kyrgyz Conservatory and continued my studies at Moscow Conservatory under Maria Tchaikovskaya. I've performed internationally in Russia, Germany, Kyrgyzstan,and the USA.

I've been a member of the Skokie Valley Symphony and Highland Park Strings. I currently teach in my private studio in Chicago area and have been doing so for the past 8 years.

I love to teach this beautiful instrument and strongly believe that everyone has he potential to learn to play it at any age! The art of music makes us better people and more in tune with the world - it heals our souls and has the power to bring us all together.
