French is not just a beautiful language, it is a culture and people rich in Liberté, Egalité, and Fraternité. With all of my students, we not only explore the richness of the language but also the expansiveness and depth of the culture, people, and of course the country.

I am confident in my ability to help you learn French in easy and fun lessons. I have helped students of all ages, most of whom have little to no experience with the language. Today, many of these, same, students are well versed in conversational French and able to read, write, speak, and explore the language and culture in ways they didn’t imagine. I have also worked with students who have a good understanding of the language and wish to brush-up on their skills or work to perfect the language as a native speaker.

Bonjour! I am a very passionate about teaching French Language to other people. I started teaching One-on-One private and group lessons with ACE/FLEX program, then I became a certified ACTFL instructor which opened more opportunities to me as a Foreign Language Instructor. I have been teaching for about 8 years now. I have worked with different Language Learning Centers such as BERLITZ, DICTYON, the Washington Language Center, ICLS, ICA and I am currently affiliated with the Diplomatic Language Services (DLS). Ready and willing to teach all kind of students at any level, the French language skills needed either for your job assignment or just to learn a Foreign language.
My classes are always tailored to meet the student's needs and objectives. I am at your service! à bientôt !

Regardless of whether I am teaching language, civilization, or literature, my main goal is to help keep my students engaged, interested, and challenged in learning. In teaching the French language I focus on developing strong conversational skills, as well as writing and reading. To supplement the class session, I use online resources, authentic documents, and regular assessment of oral and listening language skills.

I first started learning French when I was in high school and was amazed at how many similarities it shared with Spanish (which both descend from Latin) which helped me to pick up things a lot faster. I have since lived in the "French House" (at the Foreign Language Student Residence, part of on-campus housing at BYU) for two semesters where residents are required to speak their target language while in their respective apartments. I also took a third-year advanced grammar French class while at college while living in the French House. French is just an awesome language to learn!

Dear French Students,

A native French speaker, I have been tutoring students of all levels since 2008. I was the main French and German Instructor at the San Jose Learning Center in the Silicon Valley before moving to New York.

The core of my lessons are drawn from a language book, which allows everyone to work at his or her own pace during the week.

The lessons always begin with a dialogue, no matter your level. From how you are feeling, to what you did during the week, to the weather of your best friend's gossip, we warm up with a conversation I type out as we go.

The rest of the lesson is then spent reviewing previous work and introducing new material in a variety of ways, constantly setting a rule in practice. Poems, songs or texts, depending on your interest, keep the content alive and interesting.
