I am an RPN from the French-Swiss border. I currently live in the US with my husband and young daughter. I am looking to teach formal or informal French to a student of any fluency level (beginner and up). I am fully versed in business vernacular, as well as every day vocabulary. I am fluent in English, so I will be to translate any terms you feel are particularly relevant to your development as a French speaker.

As a nurse in Europe, I worked at a geriatric clinic in Switzerland. I translated text and/or conversations from French to German (and vice-versa) on a daily basis. I am passionate about linguistic fluency, and I will be proud to help you on your Francophone journey. French is not just a beautiful language, it is a culture and people rich in Liberté, Egalité, and Fraternité. With all of my students, we not only explore the richness of the language but also the expansiveness and depth of the culture, people, and of course the country.

I am confident in my ability to help you learn French in easy and fun lessons. I have helped students of all ages, most of whom have little to no experience with the language. Today, many of these, same, students are well versed in conversational French and able to read, write, speak, and explore the language and culture in ways they didn’t imagine. I have also worked with students who have a good understanding of the language and wish to brush-up on their skills or work to perfect the language as a native speaker.
