Out of all the tutors I've been with over the years, Toshi is by far the best. He is able to take the most difficult concepts and break it down to where anyone can understand which is something that most teachers aren't good at. All and all Toshi is very knowledgeable at what he does as well as understanding and accommodating. Toshi is celebrity tutor you can't go wrong with.

I’m totally new to Japanese and I was very nervous. I just completed my 3rd lesson and I'm finding learning Japanese is fun! Toshi is very patient and he is helping me create a plan forward. I have been working hard and have kind of gotten Hiragana, but I need a lot more practice. I am able to read and write some words and in our lesson today I spoke my first complete Japanese sentence. Maestro Fred Phillips is an excellent teacher of all musical knowledge. His level of skill is impressionable because he can teach a child what he has learned through his serious research.
What what stood out to me the most is that he has a genuine desire to see each student succeed. He and his wife, Sara are a beautiful teacher duo team!

I have seen Hollyn teach students from age 4 to 22. She is unfailingly respectful and always has the student's best interest in mind. She takes a holistic approach and does identifies mental AND physical issues that may need corrected for optimal achievement to occur, and then she helps the student fix them in a positive and productive way. She is particularly skilled with dealing with performing anxiety or physical pain while playing and will soon help the student overcome any such problems. She has a great personality and sense of humor and the lessons are never boring, never repetitive. She has a great training in both musicianship/performance and pedagogy.
