I like to make learning an instrument fun and easy to fit into your schedule!

If you're an adult finally getting around to learning your dream instrument or a child following your passion of playing music I tailor your lessons specifically to you. We look at what you want to play, pick specific songs that you want to learn, and learn the techniques you need to play these songs. It sounds simple, but it's so effective and much more fun to learn this way!

About Grant

Hi! I'm Grant! And it would be my pleasure to be your music instructor. I teach all of the fretted string instruments: Guitar | Banjo | Mandolin | Bass | Ukulele I structure my lesson plans specifically around what you want to learn and how you want to learn it. We will go as slow or f

I took Uke classes with Grant and truly enjoyed them because he’s very patient and doesn’t rush-force learning. I highly recommend Grant to anyone who wants to learn to play the musical instruments he plays. I’m a stroke-brain injury survivor and was hesitant to take Ukelele classes, but once I saw I was making progress, I felt more confident about continuing classes.
Highly recommend Grant,

About Anthony

Having an ear for music of all styles and genres, I had an interest in playing music and instruments at a very young age. At just 5 years old, I took my first piano lesson. I have experience tutoring students in preparation for their college music theory placement exam, which includes ear training or aural skills such as identification of scales, chords, intervals, as well as harmonic dictation. I really enjoy teaching ear training exercises and like to keep it fun and engaging for my students!

"I was very excited to be taking lessons, I played when I was a little girl, & my husband knew this & bought me a violin for Christmas so I could play again... but I was nervous if I would be able to learn since I'm not young! Mr Lin is a great teacher, he is very patient, & made me feel very comfortable... and I'm teachable! Yeah! I did good... I'm going to keep practicing, and can't wait for my next lesson!"

"Sheralee has taught piano to both of my daughters. One has taken lessons for the past 5 years, the other for 2 years (both started when they were 6 years old). She teaches them from a variety of books each week, covering theory, finger exercises, John Schaum Piano Course, and hymns. As a Christian, Sheralee prays with them before each lesson, and inspires them to use their talent and abilities for the Lord. She does this by encouraging and preparing them to play for others (church, recitals, assisted care facilities, etc.). We have been very pleased with her kind and gentle, yet persistent manner. My daughters really like her and have truly blossomed under her direction!"

"Caleb starting teaching my seven year old son the banjo just a few weeks ago. We are extremely pleased with Mr.Caleb! He is a talented and versatile musician, a nice person, and a wonderful and patient teacher. My son is learning so much technique wise, but what I love most is how fast he warmed up to Caleb and how much he wants to do well because he truly likes his teacher. Caleb is not only going to teach you or your child to play well, but even better in my opinion, is that he will support you, encourage you, approach lessons with you individually in mind, and inspire you in a genuine way."
