He is so knowledgeable about the drums and passionate about sharing that knowledge. His lessons are well structured to make the most of the time available to practice existing skills and learn new techniques, as well as being fun!
He takes the time to really focus on your existing technique in order to iron out any bad habits and he breaks down new techniques in a simple and easy to learn manner.

I believe that drumming is a universal practice for joy, health, communication and discipline available for anybody...any age...any brain...any body.
I enjoy helping other people find the groove within them, strive to improve, and adapt their drumming regimen to make "the work" of drum practice feel more like the "play" of sport and meditation ... fun, free, and refreshing

Hey drummers!
Learn to groove to the music you love!
My name is Dani Danor. I am a professional drummer and teacher. Drums and music have always been my biggest passion.
My number one goal in teaching is to get my students as excited as I am about this incredible instrument. And why shouldn't they? This is one of the few (if not the only) instruments that use all four limbs simultaneously. How crazy is that? Imagine how many rhythms, sounds and melodies can be created? Endless!
Drums are the heart of the music all around the world! Whether it's rock 'n roll, funk, jazz, hip-hop, salsa, samba, or electronic music, the drums are what make everything feel so good!
If you too would like to begin (or continue) exploring this amazing world of rhythm and sound, you are welcome to contact me to schedule a lesson. I teach at my studio in Crown Heights as well as at the students' homes.
All ages and levels are welcome! Feel free to contact me for more information.
All the best,
Dani

Experienced teacher and performer. I teach at the college level all the way down to youngsters (5 year old minimum age for me). I LOVE music and playing the drums and I'd like to share my experience with YOU!
As a performer I've toured the country multiple times with various artists, sometimes playing to crowds as large as 7,000. I've been on dozens of recording sessions and I've performed in just about anything type of venue you can imagine.
As a teacher I've maintained a roster of private students for over 10 years while also teaching as adjunct faculty for multiple colleges in Massachusetts. Additionally, I have a music therapy background which has shaped and informed my teaching style.
My favorite genres are jazz, rock, R&B, country, metal, basically anything with rhythm! Lets connect and get you moving forward on your instrument.

Great personality as well."

my son has really been enjoying hand drum lessons with phil. he's courteous and kind, and is good at engaging my almost-six year old and keeping him on task. he also is laid back and creates an atmosphere of fun, letting my son take the lead at times and being very collaborative."

Tom a ton of passion for music and drums and has much to offer a student and any stage or age."

What I like about him is that he gave a great experience in music, in addition to the theories and techniques of drumming
He's talent gave me a great inspiration to get more interested in drumming and
especially the jazz. I am satisfied of the learning that I got so far, and I am excited for more experience that will come in the future."

Who I have now is a 13 year old boy who practices 2 hours a day minimum, a passion for all things drum related, growing proficiency in theory and varying styles of music and most importantly a young confident musician who regularly plays in front of dozens if not hundreds of people.
