My acoustic guitar lessons consist of learning the techniques and posture of playing guitar, with a big emphasis on reading music notes (in addition to tablature)

From Finger style playing such as Andy Mckee to Chicken Picking such as Jimmy Wahlsteen. Acoustic guitar has probably the most interpretations on how to play it and with that comes even more techniques so we can focus on exactly what you want to learn.

With my method, I guarantee you will learn any style of acoustic guitar that you desire and adapt it into your own sound and ideas.

I've been teaching guitar for 5 years and it is one of my favorite instruments to play and teach! Within the first few lessons, you'll be able to play several chords and as time goes on you'll be able to play the songs that interest you most. I specialize in pop music and typically use the Alfred Guitar Method for Kids books or the Hal Leonard Guitar Books for older students. I love working with students of all ages and experience levels and I can't wait to meet you!
