Everyone responds differently to music, that is why I prepare special lessons for each student. As a vocal coach, I work with students of all ages. The repertoire that I recommend to beginner students includes Disney, Broadway and classical music. For intermediate and advanced vocal student, I have successfully prepared them for competitions, Broadway and University auditions as well as personal enjoyment.

About Paul
Paul M is an American born, New York-based Piano teacher, Vocal coach, Pianist, Composer and Artist. As an educator, Paul is part of The Suffolk Piano Teachers Forum, College Music Society and Music Teachers National. He has been an Adjunct-instructor at New York University (NYU). Paul also conducts master classes and seminars in The United states and South America. For the past few years, he has implemented classes in composition and music history in the coastal area of Ecuador and New York. His music studio in New York City is in high demand. In July of 2014 Paul became a Steinway Educational partner. In 2008, Paul received a Masters Degree in piano performance from New York University. In 2006, he received a Bachelor Degree of Music from Stony Brook University.
As a Pianist, In 2006 Paul was a prizewinner at the Music Club of Douglaston Piano Competition. For two consecutive years, Paul was awarded The Suffolk County Piano Forum Prize. XLNT Music recently wrote, “Paul is a fine pianist that performs with superb pianism and great sensitivity.”
 His recent public performances include Ecuador South America, Steinway Hall NYC, The United Nations, Faust Harrison Hall, Saint Peters NYC and The Staller Center. Paul has performed with The Stony Brook Symphony Orchestra and The New York University Symphony Orchestra. He has studied with well-known piano teachers including: Martin Canin, Morey Ritt, Tina Dahl, and Anita Gelber. In 2011 he released a record consisting of his performance of original compositions for solo piano that is available in bookstores and on iTunes.
As a composer Paul has composed music for the feature film Documentary Between the Shades, directed by Jill Salvino and premiered at the Soho International Film Festival in 2017. In 2014, Paul was the composer for the radio show Ackerman Associates Meets Dracula written and directed by Peter Stass. In 2014 he wrote the score for, Lies People Tell, a short film that premiered at the san pedro film festival. In 2011, he released his first solo record Succession of images, a song cycle for solo piano. In 2017, he released his second record Hope, a chamber music work recorded with clarinetist Thomas Piercy and Violinist Patrisa Tomassini. Recent public piano performances of his music include Ecuador in South America, Steinway Hall NYC, The United Nations, Spectrum NYC, Faust Harrison Hall, Saint Peters in NYC and The Staller Center in Stony Brook NY.

As an artist, Paul is known for creating large instillations, paintings and live performing art pieces. From 2014-2016, he was the artist in residence at Spectrum Gallery in NYC. In 2014, he completed the Elevator Time Machine, a large instillation made of elevator parts that responds to sound. He also wrote and produced a 20 minute live art piece called Static in Movement for piano and video. His acrylic on canvas works have also been presented at Spectrum NYC, The Art Bar, The Gallery at Logos and Ward-Nasse gallery.

From a lot of experience with beginner piano students, both young and adults, I have been able to find a regimen of piano teaching that combines time efficiency with fun. As the lessons continue, I slowly add new tools to each weekly lesson that are exiting and interesting. While working with intermediate to advanced students, I have had coached them to apply and get accepted into some of the top Universities and Conservatories in the country. My students, beginner intermediate and advanced levels, have been awarded for their performances and activities in schools and competitions.
I am also a composition teacher. I work with composition students from beginner to advance. My composition students, over the years, range from all ages starting at 7. My students, after the first year, have been able to write string quartets and piano trios. My advanced students have entered competitions all over the country and are very successful in their composition practice. Some of their compositions have been performed in famous concert halls and schools.
As a vocal coach, I work with students of all ages. The repertoire that I recommend to beginner students includes Disney, Broadway and classical music. For intermediate and advanced vocal student, I have successfully prepared them for competitions, Broadway and University auditions as well as personal enjoyment.
Most recently I held a piano, composition and vocal recital for my students at the world famous Steinway Hall in New York City. I believe that some students work better when there is motivation for performance activities. For that reason I host these type of events. Students that decide they want to take place in these events perform among all levels. I offer these performance opportunities as an invitation. Each student has a choice as to whether they would like to perform.

Stacey is a professional soprano known as an active performer in the Cincinnati area. Stacey is also an Adjunct Professor of Musical Theater Voice at Xavier University. Stacey has sung for 12 seasons with the Cincinnati Opera as a member of the core chorus and sings with Cincinnati's professional chamber choir the Vocal Arts Ensemble.

Stacey has studied piano from the age of 5 and is great for beginning or intermediate piano students.

Stacey received her Master of Music degree in Vocal Performance from the University of Cincinnati, College-Conservatory of Music where she studied with Barbara Paver. She graduated magna cum laude from DePauw University with a B.M. in Vocal Performance. She studied with Caroline Smith and Stanley Irwin.

Stacey is originally from Florence, Kentucky and takes pride in impacting her home community through music.

About Thomas
Thomas J. W. is an active music teacher, composer, adjudicator, and clinician in the greater Philadelphia area. He has over fifteen years experience as a concert band director, marching band director, jazz improvisation instructor, choral director, private instructor, and marching drill writer. His directing career has included small rural band programs, small metro programs, large high-achieving suburban programs, and non-profit youth bands. In addition to his band compositions, he also has over forty unpublished vocal arrangements to his credit, most written for use with collegiate men's a cappella groups. Thomas taught over 600 online and local private music lessons in 2016.

Thomas has a Bachelor of Science degree in Music Education from The Pennsylvania State University. He holds a teaching certificate in the states of Pennsylvania
and New Jersey and has taught at the secondary level in both states. In addition to both instrumental and choral ensembles at Penn State, Thomas was a student leader in the Penn State Blue Band and a member of the brass section of the Cadets of Bergen County Drum and Bugle Corps in 1993 and 1994. He served as an Associate Director of the Warren Junior Military Band of Youngstown, Ohio from 1995 to 2005. He also served as a visual staff member for the renowned North Penn Marching Knights of Lansdale, PA for one season in 2004.

He is a current adjudicator with Drum Corps International and Cavalcade of Bands. He is a member of MENC, PMEA, NJMEA, ASCAP, CASA, Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia, and the National Band Association. He appeared in the Marquis Who's Who Among American Educators in 2004 and 2005, an honor rarely bestowed upon teachers, as students who appear in the Who's Who Among American High School Students must nominate them. He currently is a music teacher at the Center for Performing and Fine Arts of the PA Leadership Charter School in West Chester, PA and resides in Downingtown, PA with his wife and two sons.

*** Lesson Details ***
My lessons are tailored to the needs and interests of each student. If a student is involved in school music ensembles, we will work with their lesson books from school in addition to material outside of the books, including SmartMusic, Noteflight, and teacher-created materials. We will focus on building proper tone production and individual technique - something that often is difficult to learn in a large ensemble setting.

I am capable of starting a beginner student on any band instrument including percussion, any classical string instrument (violin, viola, cello, string bass), and piano. I can begin a student on drum set and work with them through their first method book, but I would then recommend they find a specialized drum set teacher after a period of six to twelve months.

For advanced students, I work from selected conservatory etude books on developing advanced skills and can work with students on audition pieces for honors bands/orchestras or college auditions.

My lessons are a half-hour once a week, with the option of working for 45 minutes or 60 minutes.

My son was very nervous about his first online lesson. His instructor had him start right in on the lesson, which helped my son quickly get over his nerves. I had a terrible experience with the first teacher so Chanel was a wonderful change. She was totally prepared, helped teach me how to read music (it will take a while), she had a booklet for me with my "homework" book, my notebook, cancellation terms, etc. Very professional, organized, and friendly. I would HIGHLY recommend her anytime!

Ms. Chanel has a great personality, bubbly and energetic, makes you feel at home and comfortable in her environment. She's patient and takes her time with you. I am truly excited at the levels she will take me with my vocals. The breathing exercise assignments is helping me also in the way I project my voice. I love the focus she gives when given you instructions. My first experience was fun and Awesome. Can't wait for my next lesson.

Kyle is a great teacher. My grandson Franklin has trouble with paying attention, but Kyle was great when it comes to keeping him focused and interested. He has been with Kyle for close to a year now, and even though he is only 8 years old, he has learned a lot! I would highly recommend taking lessons with Kyle. He makes both grandparents and students happy and, my grandson looks forward to lessons every week with him.

I've been teaching professionally for about 7 years now. I teach all levels of voice (beginners are definitely welcome!!) and also work with beginner piano and guitar students at a studio near me. I really enjoy classical music, but my roots began singing and writing music. I'm a fan of teaching what people genuinely want to learn, as I have had many teachers give me repertoire or songs that killed my creativity and motivation. I prefer to look at myself as a "coach" rather than a teacher, because I am here to guide you through new techniques and to enrich the artist you already are.

My first instrument was the guitar when I was 7 years old.. I began singing and songwriting, and teaching myself piano until I was about 16 years old. My dad said to me, "You're voice is ok, but you need lessons.." (Thanks, Dad!) "Alison is a recent graduate from the Boston Conservatory at Berklee with a Bachelor’s degree in Vocal Performance. Originally from West Michigan, she was an active member of Opera Grand Rapids and a finalist in the Opera Grand Rapids Vocal Collegiate Competition at age 19. Collaborations include solo performances with the Grand Rapids Symphony, Failure: Lab, and concerts around the community.
During her undergraduate training, she has studied and performed with the American Institute of Musical Studies in Graz, Austria and OperaWorks 2016 Emerging Artist Program in Los Angeles, California. She has performed in Masterclasses with Gabriele Lechner, Ann Baltz, and internationally acclaimed accompanist, John Wustman.
She is looking forward to future performances around the Boston area and working with her own students to share the gift o
