Justin is very knowledgeable, patient and charismatic. I am just getting back into lessons as an adult and I’m so glad I decided to go this route instead of teaching myself online. Highly recommend!

Justin has been great. My son has progressed faster than I did when I was his age. Also he has begun composing and Justin has helped him with that too as well as music theory. A lot to fit in in six months!

I do not teach guitar for readers or cover artists. If you want to learn how to find your own style and build on what is unique and valuable in what you play, I can help you.

I typically can't offer much to an already advanced player as they've already acquired and embedded habits I will train less experienced players to either avoid or incorporate from a creative rather than copy-cat methodology.

Students will be taught "Expressive Practicing", a technique emphasizing skills earned through inspired playing. This is a highly individualized method based on the students instinctive capabilities such as having an natural "ear". Fundamentals are taught as applied through a run-before-you-walk set of exercises and structured improvisation techniques.

About Richard
I can't wait to work with you! I am passionate about the subjects I teach, and find nothing can compare to seeing a student "get it", so they may too enjoy the passion that comes from learning and doing something they love.

Everything I teach I've learned most completely by doing as a Professional, and find great reward in sharing my experience and knowledge with my students.

When the "aha" light goes on, it's truly a wonderful moment for me, and encourages me to drive my students to build towards more of those moments as students, and then ultimately, for themselves as they learn to grow for themselves.

I have taught guitar since 2012 and have been playing since 2000. I am happy to take students at the beginner and intermediate levels. I believe strongly in integrating music theory and ultimately moving students toward musical self-suffiency, rather than focusing exclusively on learning particular pieces.

About Ben
Hi, there! My name is Ben and I can't wait to meet you! I've been teaching private lessons since 2012 and have taught students of all ages from 3 to adult. I have experience not just with teaching but also with writing, recording, and performing music in successful bands and on multiple instruments and in multiple genres. I am comfortable teaching piano, guitar, and bass guitar, and I especially love teaching music theory. I have extensive theory training at the college level and have written and composed extensively in the classical, rock, jazz, and folk traditions. I look forward to meeting you and helping you to achieve your musical goals.

I tend to favor teaching a well-rounded course of genres while incorporating note-reading and tabs, but as always I will adapt my lessons to help you reach your goals. Whether it's classical, jazz, rock, folk, or whatever, I've got you covered.

Experienced music teacher of 10 years available for eager students of all experience levels and ages! I structure my lessons so students learn what they want to learn, while also building a strong foundation.

About Abe
I've always had a love for music. I've been teaching music in the classroom and privately for 10 years. I have a Master's Degree in Music Education and am a Level 2 James Hill Ukulele Initiative certified teacher.

I'm a father 4, and have been married for 12 years.

I teach guitar, piano, bass, and singing, but my real passion is the ukulele. I believe it's the best instrument for beginners and can really stand well on it's own, unlike the traditional thought of ukulele being a toy.

When I teach, I put the student first and always make the students goals my own. I push for more, but always gently encourage to build off of successes to achieve mastery.

Learning an instrument can be a difficult task, and it takes time and dedication. It's also tremendously rewarding, and the most important thing that I want my students to gai
n is a fun experience improving and creating music.

Abe is patient and offers a lot of encouragement. He sees the improvement in me and always keeps me focused on what I'm getting right. Still, he keeps pushing without letting me become self-satisfied. I tried to learn guitar some years ago, but got nowhere and gave up. I'm really glad that I found Abe, an accomplished musician, and a very talented teacher. I'm amazed at my progress, and I owe alot to him. He's excellent.

Some ensembles I have taken include: Pop ensemble, chamber guitar ensemble (classical guitar) and a Dream Theater ensemble. I took lessons with Joe Stump and Don Lappin. I also took some guitar labs that consisted of fretboard concepts (ways to visualize the fretboard) and the use of effects for guitar.

I have 5 years of one-on-one guitar lesson experience and have been playing guitar for over 20 years. I am patient, encouraging, and tailor each lesson to the individual. Never a "cookie-cutter" lesson!

In my time teaching guitar, I have worked with students ranging from 8 years old to over 60! All ages are welcome! Learning guitar can and should be super exciting. Join me on this adventure!

About Craig
I am a seasoned vet when it comes to playing and teaching guitar. I have over 20 years playing and 5 years (professionally) teaching. I am able to work with a beginner from day one and get them up and playing songs in no time.

Encouragement and positive reinforcement is key when learning to play guitar. You will never hear a discouraging word out of my mouth and we will work together to continue moving forward.

A little about me personally: I have been married for 14 years now. My wife Leah and I have 3 children, Caleb, Claire, and Caitlin. I am in the Valley Center (Wichita) KS area. My musical passion and style ranges from country and folk to hard rock and blues. If it's on the guitar, I can play it and I can teach it.

Craig is a great teacher. I began playing guitar in middle school because I wanted to join the youth worship band. Along the way Craig mentored me and grew my passion for guitar. Without a doubt if you want to really gain a passion for this instrument Craig is the best teacher for you.

On guitar, I like to work with children ages 7 to 11 because I feel that they need to be able to master pushing those strings down in such a way that they won't some thuddy. Children who are too young sometimes have problems getting those strings to sound nice and clear so I'd like to be able to at least start with them at the minimum age of 7 years, sometimes six-years-old, depending on the child's ability.

I like to be able to send materials to you through a fax machine if you have one of those in your home. Or if you have a fax very close by that you can use to collect items I'm sending. Please let me know if you have one of these available close by. Thank you.

About Sunshine
Hello!😄♥️😁 I'm Sunshine! I'm a singer songwriter musician, and teach music locally, and now online. My husband & I own a music business, we sell guitars, keyboards, drums, mandolin, ukulele's, etc.. (lots of different instruments).
We both give music lessons. I teach piano, guitar, and voice lessons. He teaches guitar, drums, mandolin, lap steel guitar, and can do "bass and ukulele" lessons if desired as well. So between us, we cover several instruments.

We've had seasonal "Kids School of Music Bands" offered at our facility over the last several years, which is an addition great option if you're here locally where we're located.

I can teach you songwriting skills as well if you have an interest in that direction. I started writing songs when I was around 11 years old. It's a passion of mine. If you have a melody for a song, but
have a problem finding or creating your lyrics, we can work on that, or vice versa, if you have some great lyrics but you need to find your melody and/or need to create your song flow "for" those lyrics, we can also work on those skills.

I also offer pre-math and math skills for ages 3 to 11 years, also, reading, writing, and FUN phonics skills.

Whatever your focus is on, just contact me and let me know.

So ... SMILE guys! 😁😁😁 Lets make things FUN and enjoyably Colorful in whichever direction your going!

🌞☀️🌝 Sunshine! 😁
