*** Lesson Details ***
First and foremost we will have a great time, and you will learn a ton. If you choose to only practice while we are in our lessons, you will get a little better. If apply the techniques and ideas we come up with during our lesson during the week, and practice everyday, you will improve in ways you never thought possible. If you are coming for voice you will learn to extend your range, intonation, pitch, as well as ways to connect with your audience. We will do funny little scales all designed to strengthen different areas of your voice to make you a diverse and confident singer. I concentrate on vocal "Setups™" that are non pitch dependent, meaning we go for how to make certain types of sounds in ANY part of your range, rather than limiting to one type of sound for lower pitches, and another type of sound for higher pitches. If you are coming for keyboards, I will emphasis the style of music YOU are interested in, whether pop/rock, jazz or even classical. Or maybe you are singer-songwriter looking to accompany yourself on keys or guitar, I have had 100's of hours performing solo gigs on both keyboard and guitar. I can also give you the fundamentals to set yourself up for success on Guitar, Bass Guitar, and Drums, as well as the Recording Arts. You will learn how nothing is more rewarding than making yourself the best musician you can be!

*** Studio Equipment ***
Computer, recording equipment, 100 square feet, keyboards, mic with PA, parents can sit in on lesson

*** Specialties ***
I have studied just about every technique of vocals out there, and developed my own method I call Streamline Vocal Method™. We will find the areas that hold you back in your singing goals, and we will DEMOLISH them. Piano I am well versed in many of the Pop style Piano including Blues Piano, Funk, Singer-Songwriter, R&B, country, as well as atmospheric or synth playing (EG, playing strings convincingly on a keyboard). I can also teach beginning to lower intermediate Guitar and Bass guitar, teach you not only chord structures and scales, but how to get the most creatively out of your 4 or 6 string beast. We will learn songs and apply the theory involved with each song to better yourself as a musician, while loving the process.

I teach online so that I can reach anybody in the world without them having to leave the comfort of their home or office. I have taught many lessons online and have mastered how to listen with an "adjusted ear" to take into account how camera mics alter the frequency range. I will also provide you with a link to scales for vocals that I have created so we can do the scales in real time, to avoid the slight delay that comes with online communication.

You will love how much you will learn with me, as well as how much fun we will have. I have been lucky enough to make my living on music, I have toured the world several times over, and I'd love to share my passion and knowledge with you!

Really enjoying myself

Chris makes learning really fun. I look forward to my lessons and just told him the other day that I wish my lesson was for 3 hours. I go to Chris for 1.5hr every other week and that gives me to time to practice for 2 weeks. We cover a lot of ground. Chris gives me structure to follow and that helps me. I've only had a few lessons with Chris but I can tell that I am going to make that big leap this year from "practicing" music to "playing" music.

Excellent Teacher

Chris is extremely talented and very knowledgable of the technical aspects of the voice. He doesn't have a rigid cookie-cutter lesson plan that he just pulls out for everyone regardless of his/her level. He has a great ear for whatever problems you may have, and as a result he's able to cater his lesson plan to your needs. He has a wide array of vocal exercises for exactly this purpose. He knows a lot about a variety of genres, so he's able to help you build your voice while still maintaining the style that you prefer. He records every lesson on a cd/usb drive (whichever you prefer), so it's very convenient and easy to practice throughout the week without missing any of the feedback that he gives. It's also great to hear yourself gradually improve throughout your time with him.
I've been able to expand my vocal range by over an octave during my time with Chris and now I feel much more confident in my vocal ability. Chris is a great teacher and I definitely recommend that you give him a shot!

Learn to play your favorite songs, sing while playing, and write your own songs, too!

I have been passionate about music all of my life. I have been teaching guitar and piano for 10 years. I'm a doctoral student at Chestnut Hill College pursuing a degree in clinical psychology with plans to become a music therapist. I learned guitar and classical piano under 2 private teachers while pursuing my Psychology degree and music minor at Rutgers University in NJ.

Music was a way for me to find peace, structure, confidence, and an outlet for personal expression and creativity outside of my everyday life. I've grown as a person and a musician through music. I get excited when I see my students learn enjoy playing something new. I love music more than anything else and that love is something I try to bring out in my students. Once there is
love for music, everything grows naturally. I teach to help my students find those strengths in themselves to live a fulfilling life through their instrument.

I didn't really know what to expect from songwriting lessons but Adam is very flexible with his teaching, knowledgeable, and responsive. He gives you the tools you need to pursue any path you choose and to feel good about what you're achieving. Adam is very nonjudgmental and just loves music. Thanks to him I've come very far in a short amount of time.

Started playing a Soprano Uke at an early age. Quickly moved to a Baritone Uke and wrote my first song at age 11. This also was the year that a Drum Set came into our house. I was in love with music . . . and still am after all these years!!
Hear are instruments I play professionally: Acoustic & Electric Guitar, Bass Guitar and Drum Set. I also have performed and led worship with the Electronic Keyboard. I can do beginner lessons in all of the above and Banjo, Mandolin & Fiddle.
Over the years I have enjoyed leading Worship Bands, forming Praise Teams, joining the "pit" for Musical Theater, Bluegrass Band, Solo Guitar & Voice and Background Music on the Keyboard. The list goes on and on and on AND the list is not finished yet. Have written quite a few songs and worked with other song writers on their pieces. If you hope to be a singer/son
gwriter . . . then I am your man! I can help with voice coaching and experienced critique of lyrics and chord selections.
Great success teaching the above instruments as well. The youngest student taught is 5 years old and the most mature was 72 years young!
I want you to know that I am a Christian. My love for Jesus continues to grow and I have always been careful to screen certain songs out of my repertoire and teaching.
Let me share with you My Love of Music and get you where you are hoping to go with yours.

About Luisa
Hi! I am a singer/songwriter and actress.

I am graduating from Berklee College of Music, after studying at the Frost School of Music at the University of Miami for 3 years (I majored in Music Business with a minor in song writing).

I just moved back to Miami from living in Los Angeles for 2 years to write and record my EP. During my time in LA, I also furthered my training in acting for film and songwriting. I also shadowed videographers in LA and learned how to film and edit videos, which is why I opened a vlog channel to support my music.

I have been performing ever since I was a child. Some of my most important performances include: performing duets with Phil Collins both in Miami and in Switzerland, singing the National Anthem at the Heat Quarterfinals in 2013, being on THE VOICE in Italy, performing my original songs at a Phil C
ollins foundation in Paris, being the opening act for the United Nation's International Year of Youth in New York City, and performing the National Anthem at the Miami Open.

I speak and sing in 3 languages - English, Spanish, and Italian. I am originally from Rome, Italy.

I am completely aware of all musical genres, and especially what is current at the moment. I encourage students to bring in whatever music they feel is best for them and also challenging. Being a songwriter, I persuade students to bring in their own songs (if they write) so that we can work on the songs and most importantly, performing them. My main goal is that students become great performers, while primarily having mastered their technique for their vocal health and longevity.
