Are you a beginner, intermediate or advanced drum-set player interested in learning how to keep a beat, how to set-up a drum-set, how to tune drums, how to play fills...actually you're here because you want to be a Rockstar, don't you? Ah. I see. This should be easy then.
I started playing drum-set professionally as a freshmen in high school and have never stopped. It was my first true love, and my way into my own musical voice. I also sing while performing drums, so if that's something you're interested in getting better at I have plenty of experience to help you lead from behind the set.
Whether you are planning on joining/starting a band, using it as accompaniment to someone else, or just want to learn for fun as a hobby, I can teach you all you need to know to meet your Rockstar drummer potential! If you have any questions, please message me!

Lessons were given at her studio in her home, and over the course of 8 weeks we transformed my vocals from uncertainty, to the confidence I needed to nail my solo performance.
10/10 would recommend to anyone seeking to improve their vocals. Just make sure you do the homework she sends you with (vocal warm ups, breathing camps, and daily practice) and you'll see results in a little as the first visit.
Her personality and encouragement were absolutely infectious and really lent to an overall positive experience.

Learning Argentine Tango can change your life in numerous ways. I know, because I teach it for like - forever. Special people start learning the Tango and this is not without reason. We have a saying - you do not choose Tango. Tango chooses you. And when the time is right - you will encounter it.
I am not gonna lie to you. It will not be easy. But it is the best thing you will ever do for Your Partner and Yourself! Argentine Tango is not just a dance.
My partner and I think of an Argentine Tango as a Philosophy of Life. People who join us on the journey to discovery usually stay for years. I would say forever, but that's. a tricky word since I had not experienced foreverness quite yet... It would indicate immortality, right?
Tango is a dance based on communication between two bodies - the dance is improvised. That means the Leader proposes the movement to the Follower in response to what she confirms the understanding of it and interprets it in the way she and her body understood ...
Hernan has taught and performed at various festivals, milongas, and studios in New York and Massachusetts as well as in Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Ireland, and Argentina. He was a principal dancer in the off-Broadway dance play Let's Speak Tango and choreographed and starred in the short film G

Teaching Philosophy: Singing should be fun, but it requires hard work. Just like an athlete we must train our bodies until we can trust our innate talents as performers. Combining imagery with scientific terminology engages the students mind. Thus his ability to grasp concepts is strengthened through encouragement and practice.

THANK YOU, VANESSA!
A year ago when I was shopping for a voice teacher, Take Lessons provided a wide selection of viable options. As a senior adult, I was feeling a need to clarify my "Call" in life, and to return to some of the personal strengths that I hope to continue using in the last 1/3 of my life. In my profile I indicted I was looking to maintain the voice that has been a part of every aspect of my life from theatre to singing, to preaching, to creating radio spots. When I mentioned that goal to Vanessa in our first meeting she countered: âWe wonât just maintain it, weâll restore it!â What a confidence booster that was!
Although my life work mostly involves speaking, I also have a love of singingâsomething I have participated in one way or another for the last 50 years. I wanted to overcome the âold ladyâ vibrato syndrome if possible and to be able to sing without concern that those within earshot would shudder.
In addition, I was looking for certain attributes in a teacher:
⢠A person who is at my stage of life or beyond.
⢠A person who is knowledgeable in both singing and speech.
⢠A person with a personal teaching style that is positive and encouraging.
ENTER VANESSA PACE!
Vanessa is confident and knowledgeable. In addition, she has customized my learning program to suit my current objectives, which have changed from one week to the next depending upon my professional assignments from work and my personal creative pursuits.
In this year Vanessa brought me to a point of âbreaking throughâ inhibitions and moving beyond what I thought Iâd be able to do. Her constant use of cues to put me on track with the use of my voice has been invaluable! She compared letting sound pass through the vocal cords (without strain) in the same way breath becomes music through a clarinet. Using words like âPull up your spineâyouâre two inches taller!â; and reminders to draw on the strength of (underused) larger muscles to support the efforts of diaphragm have been helpful in numerous practical matters of everyday life.
Vanessa is inspiring in that she is a life-long learner and passionate about things to the degree that she invests in them with intelligent research, attention to science, and a spiritual passion that drives her to draw out the best in her students in similar fashion.
If you are looking for a voice teacher, Vanessa will work with you where you are--and help you move toward the goal of where you are hoping to be.
I am thanking God this Thanksgiving Season for Vanessa Pace.

Actors often draw their audience in through strong and seemingly authentic emotions. Perhaps you watched a particularly emotional scene in a movie or play and wondered to yourself whether or not the emotion the actor was showing was truthful. Perhaps they were crying and you could see the tears falling. Are those real tears? The answer is, probably, yes. Crying on command is tricky business and like everything else, takes preparation and practice. However, there are some tips and tri …
