When it comes to working with choirs over the years, we've been blessed to work with amazing vocalists who were able to sing unison to four part songs. We've done music from The Greatest Showman, Newsies, Hairspray, Pentatonix, Christmas, 50's-60's music and other genres. We spend the majority of the time working on proper vocal techniques: vowels, breathing, dynamics, intervals, dynamics, learning to reading music. If you're looking for opportunities to sing with others, please consider taking vocal lessons.

Mr. Andrew is kind, funny and engaging.

My son (6) always has the best time at lesson and wants to know immediately when he gets to go back.

Our son has a lot on his plate and watching him have something that's just his that he is happy to do and enjoys this has been such a bright spot for our whole family.

- and Mr. Andrew is in direct correlation to that.

I recommend Mr. Andrew to anyone who is looking for a teacher who is kind, funny, engaging, and wants to help you succeed and gives you opportunities to use the skills you have learned.

Dr. Serna is such a kind, patient, and super funny teacher. I took viola da gamba lessons from him for a few months during the height of the pandemic as kind of a passion project, and it was awesome! Highly recommend.

Dr. Serna is a masterful musician and teacher who is easy going and tailors the lessons to your needs. He had a vast wealth of knowledge in music and history and could not be a kinder person. You will advance quickly under the tutelage of Dr. Serna and have fun doing it.

Dr Serna has instructed my daughter on the Double Bass for a few years now. He has come to her school for weekly lessons and in-home. She has improved immensely with his instruction. Dr Serna is knowledgeable, personable and is very good at what he does.

I have been a songwriter for 5 years. Songwriting is often thought to be about writing about your life. It can be, but in fact some of the most prolific song lyrics have been written without any real story behind it. What writers such as The Eagles, Michael Jackson, John Mayer, Nirvana, etc used was their ability to project the feelings of those around them into their song for inspiration. Their imagination, life experiences, and repetition guided them to write lyrics that wouldn’t even be how they normally speak. Through my lessons, I will talk you through my process, we will go over exercises I use to help me overcome “writers block” and talk about what makes a good song. Your homework will include listening to lyrics and analyzing them. We will play rhyme games to improve improvisation, and I can even help with current lyrics you’re working on. If you’ve ever wanted to write songs but didn’t know where to start, sign up and let’s get started!

I had 4 lessons with Kevin. I had to stop due to a medical issue. I am a beginner and Kevin successfully got me to relax and feel comfortable on his awesome drum kit. He made a real effort to meet me on my level and made sure I was solid on the fundamentals. Best of all: I had a lot fun at his lessons! Highly recommended.

"I recently had a chance to take a few lessons with Lawrence and have to say it helped me more than I could say with words. I’ve never had an instructor, so I was a complete noob, but he was very patient even though I made a lot mistakes and probably sounded really bad (lol). He gave me some really good vocal exercises to do, as well as helped me with my pitch and technique. What impressed me the most was he wasn’t just a vocal coach, but he was motivating me and giving me confidence and advice that really stuck with me, like the importance of staying consistent and being the best I can and not worrying about what others think about my singing, just trying to get better each day. There’s no doubt I would recommend him to anybody, he’s an A+++ teacher. I was a little scared of posting this review because I didn’t want him to get flooded with requests and rates to go up lol, but I thought I’d share my experience with ya’ll."

"My 7 year old son has been taking recorder lessons from Dimitry for almost 1 year now. Dimitry is very patient, encouraging, and enganging - considering that my son is on the younger side. Dimitry provides music instruction that is appropriate age and level wise, so my son feels accomplished and challenged at the same time.
We plan to continue with Dimitry and hopefully advance to the clarinet once his fingers can cover the clarinet holes and he has learned more music theory. My son looks forward to his music lessons. We are very pleased with his musical instruction."
