I've been playing for 15 years and teaching for 5. For beginners we will learn basic notation, fingering, scales and classic Irish rhythms (jigs, reels, hornpipes, etc.). For intermediate and advanced students we will spend time on improving fingering skills, learning ornamentation and refining breathing techniques. With beginners I will choose tunes that will help them progress to high proficiency, and with the more advanced students I will encourage them to choose tunes they are specifically interested in learning. If I don't know them, we'll learn together!

About Lee

I love Irish Traditional Music, and one of the best parts is its history of sharing!

Lessons are fun, informative and a good balance between "Lets work on this skill,""Let's learn a new tune," and "Here's a fun fact!" Also made it easy to work lesson times into my, at times, insane schedule. Very encouraging and got me comfortable with actually playing in sessions at the local pub. Highly recommend.

Lee is a great instructor - engaging and fun to work with. I have noticed significant improvements in my playing over the last few weeks, and my family is appreciative too, to the point that I no longer need to hide in a remote corner of the house to practice :-)
Highly recommended.

I specialize in providing a great foundation for learning the instrument. Too many students, new to the guitar, get frustrated and quit after just a few lessons, because it falls short of their expectations and they find they are not progressing. I make certain to keep the enthusiasm intact through the entire learning process by making sure the student is actually playing the instrument. I like to think of my method as "Fast Track to Playing Guitar"; my goal is to keep the student's interest in the instrument at a sustained level while they are grasping the fundamentals. Because I teach Voice as well, and have made a living accompanying myself on the guitar, I can combine those attributes for my students, if they desire to accompany themselves while singing. I find that many of my students really enjoy that option, and I have uncovered many a student who had never thought of themselves as a vocalist, singing and playing with astounding results... My success rate of having my students ...

About Glenn

I have been active in the entertainment industry since the age of 12, when I gave my first professional performance. Prior to that I was already being introduced to music with years of guitar, and then vocal instruction. I do not remember a time of my life when I was not singing somewhere; in the h

"My main regret is that I did not start with him when I was much younger!

I have had the pleasure of lessons from Jesse Horner for two years. I started when I was 73 years old and never had any music training before, so I started from scratch. Jesse has been great in guiding me in the direction I seemed to want to go. With almost 40 years experience, I think Jesse has experience and knowledge of every aspect of music theory, guitars and guitar playing(also Ukuleles). He makes the lessons enjoyable and is very flexible and understanding in his teaching process. My main regret is that I did not start with him when I was much younger!

"I've always had singing lessons on my bucket list. So at age 45+ I decided to give it a try with online lessons from Tanisha. I can't say enough about these lessons. Tanisha is a real pro. Even over Skype she was able to identify the habits and idiosyncrasies that were impacting my singing and provide me with some easy ways to improve my voice. She has the technical knowledge and skill to help shower singers like myself or rising stars. I especially enjoyed the opera exercises that really stretched my capabilities. Watch out karaoke. "Fantastic Experience!

As a colleague of Chris' I can heartily recommend his teaching to any trombonists wishing to hone their skills as musicians. Chris focuses on the individual needs of each student, working to tailor his lessons to meet their specific needs and face their unique challenges. His attention to detail and patience helps each student build a strong foundation in musicality and fantastic brass playing. I recommend him highly as both a superb educator and performer!"

"Beth is an excellent music teacher. We were introduced to her by our friends whose kid was taking piano lessons with her.
My 2 daughters aged 8 and 5 started taking classes with her and the only thing I can say that we were lucky to have her as our kids piano teacher. She is professional as well as friendly with kids. Beth is very sweet and humble human being apart from being an amazing music teacher. My older daughter also took voice lessons from her. I am not a music expert but I was able to see how fast my kids learnt from her which only proves that her teaching style and techniques were excellent.
She was also very accommodating with the schedule if any changes were needed.
We are very sad that she is moving out from our area and it will be really tough to find someone like her. My kids love her and we all wish her the best. Anyone thinking of hiring her for music lessons, do not give a second thought, you will not be disappointed."
