I've been teaching SAT preparation for 10 years and my students have increased their SAT scores over 500 points from their initial scores.
I create a personalized daily syllabus that caters to each student's individual strengths and weakness, and check in with my students daily to make sure that they are completing their homework assignments and have no questions.
My program is rigorous and demanding, but leads to significantly higher scores very quickly. I do not give my students a chance to slack off or to stop doing their homework assignments because students are required to enter when they have completed their homework assignments, their scores, and their vocabulary words daily through a virtual tracking system that I have created.
I provide a book list including Collegeboard and Kaplan books, though can work with whatever books students already have. I incorporate technology to keep students engaged.
I can't wait to begin!

What do you call a letter who's not afraid of anything?! ...
A 'G'!
Hello!
My name is Myreah, but you may call me Mya. I'm no teacher. I'm no instructor. I'm no professor. Nope, too serious! I'm just a silly wife and mom of eight who homeschooled three of her sons and got them moved from special education to regular ed classes in less than a month... They are now back to attending school in a physical setting. I have an autistic son who is in first grade, thriving, and at the head of his class. I also have twin sons who are in 3rd grade. They have special physical and mental challenges due to being delivered via an emergency C-Section three months before their due date. Despite their challenges and struggles since birth, they are now eight-years-old and doing really well in school. Their teachers have no concerns. I took my boys who still could not read or count in first grade--they could not even tell me any words that started with specific sounds or letters when prompted due to

Phonics is phun... oops! I mean phonics is fun!! With my experience of teaching elementary students, I’ve learned many techniques to teach children how letters make sounds and how those sounds blend together to make words. When reading with children , ‘blending’ is the strategy for reading a new word. If the child has not come across a spelling in a word – students are encouraged (not told!) to use the sound and add the letter/sounds they already know to blend the word.
About Faye
Practice can be a pain in our lives especially when we would rather do other activities we consider more fun...but...it can be so rewarding feeling confidence in all aspects of our daily lives, especially when we understand how our academic success relates to real world activities!!! As an experi

He impressed me already the first minutes of the first lesson he gave my son in AP Calculus BC by asking specific questions and pin pointing where my son might need help. After that he has come prepared and focused with materials for each tutoring session.
Marwan's piano credentials speak for themselves but I want to underscore that he is really good at adjusting to the student's level and making it fun. My daughter always tells me afterwards *it is so much fun with Marwan!*.
On top of all that, Marwan is a good, kind person and a really cool guy. You could not be in better hands."
